My self-summary
The details of my life are quite inconsequential... very well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark...

Right...just kidding. For those of you completely in the dark on the nonsense I just spewed, it's from the movie Austin Powers, International Man of Mystery. If you haven't seen it, please make it the next thing you do!

I'm just a city boy, born and raised in South Detroit. Just kidding again. I'm originally from Long Island...pronounced Lawnguyland. I've been living in this great big city for about 5 years now. I freaking love it. Not sure there are too many other places I can live. I came here via Washington, DC, Philly and London.
What I’m doing with my life
What I'm doing with my life? That's a really good question. You'd think 40 years later, I'd know. Well, I moved here for a job with a big media company doing mergers and acquisitions, and later I started a mobile marketing company. Now I'm looking to eventually move back over to doing corporate strategy for a big media company.
I’m really good at
Extreme ironing.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm a huge bookworm. I tended to like non-fiction books like anything Malcolm Gladwell writes or books like Freakanomics. Can anybody recommend a really good novel? I'm dying to lose myself in a story.

Movies: Groundhogs Day, 12 Angry Men, Garden State, Star Wars, 500 Days of Summer, Old Boy, Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind.

TV: Dexter, Breaking Bad, Revenge, Homeland (anybody know how good season 2 is?)

As for music I love the Killers, Santigold, Metric, Kate Nash, Ball Park Music, and of course, Vampire Weekend. Love me some Vampire Weekend.
The six things I could never do without
1. Jesus (LOL, just kidding)
2. iPhone
3. Air
4. Family
5. Nutella
6. Hope
7. Cocaine

Just kidding on number 7. Like how I put the iPhone before air?
On a typical Friday night I am
I have a few friends I like a hang out with on the weekend. We might a grab a happy hour beer or I might do a nice dinner party. Yes, a dinner party sounds so grown up--that and wine and cheese parties.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I once became deathly ill with malaria while traveling alone in Africa. Probably the closest I came to dying. Oof.

I also sometimes listen to Ke$ha. Yikes!
