My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I had something here, but I kept thinking it sounded very presumptuous. Now I don't know what to write without sounding like a jackass, so I'll just list my likes and dislikes.

- watching movies, TV shows, and anime.
- I like soccer, although I haven't played it in a while.
- classic literature (I have a degree in English lit) and music. Favorite book: Heart of Darkness. Favorite symphony: Beethoven's 9th (2nd movement is my favorite, but love the fourth also, who doesn't.
- having stimulating conversations about any subject.
- Cooking and eating.

- People telling me how I should feel.
- Tobacco.
- Heavy drinking.
- Close mindedness.
- Prejudice.

Obviously these are not all, but a few of my top ones.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working in the banking industry. Trying to overcome my social anxiety. I mean, what better way than to try and start a conversation with a total stranger.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm a fair cook? I know, saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. I've been told I'm a very good person to have a conversation with because I can talk about a lot of subjects.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My height, i'm fairly short, but I don't mind that.

I just love classic literature: Great Gatsby, Anna Karenina, Heart of Darkness, The Tempest, The Sorrows of Young Werther, Elective Affinities, Pere Goriot, Where the air is clear, The Sound and the Fury, The Things They Carried, Poems by T.S Eliot, and many, many more.

Music: Stratovarius, Rhapsody of Fire, sonata arctica, rainbow, heart, dio, zz top, Motorhead. Malice mizer, moi dix mois. All time favorite: Led Zeppelin.

Movies: anything quentin tarantino, the lord of the rings, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, pan's labyrinth, The silence of the Lambs. I like watching movies so any movie is fine.

Shows: Big Bang Theory, Supernatural, The office, parks and rec, modern family, House, Master chef, Hell's kitchen, Iron Chef, Iron Chef America, and anything in the food network really. I like anime too, although I have not watched many. I really like Eureka 7, corny I know, but I really like it.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Family, a sense of usefulness, music (I love music), movies, a good laugh, and purpose.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The future. Recently, advancing my career.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually at home watching a movie, playing video games or board games with family and friends.
Settlers of Catan, yeah.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you want to talk. If you think we can have a good time.

AC/DC concert in September.

If you think you can hold a stimulating conversation with me. I rather talk about the economic state of the country, new advancements in science, the thematic and artistry of a film, or the importance of art in out society than the tedious small talk. I feel small talk reveals very little about a person. A lot of people find this off putting and I have learned to tone it down and participate in the conversational convention, but I would rather meet someone around whom I can be myself.
