I am compassionate, creative, and clever.
My Self-Summary
I moved to Arizona a few years ago from Michigan. I spend most of
my time
reading,
painting,
playing on the computer
or
watching
movies... and I almost always have
music playing. Since moving out here I
have not really had much opportunity to meet many people.
I am funny and somewhat outgoing; although I do admit to being shy
at times... I can be a walking contradiction. But I think that
aspect of my personality can make me a very interesting or
sometimes frustrating person to know. I enjoy creating art, and as
a result have a pretty funky and diverse collection of things both
bought and created. I love (in no particular order)
movies,
anime,
books,
poetry,
art,
animals,
gardening,
music... the list goes on and on. I like
to think I am open to life in general and willing to give anything
a chance.
Life is funny... I enjoy looking at the glass as half full and
knowing that everything in life helps shape us into who we have
become and will one day be. Negative events are not really
negative, they are essential to help us get to where we need to be
so we can fulfill the purpose of our life. Considering my general
outlook on life, I am looking for someone just as open-minded and
optimistic. I do get my down times occasionally, but I think
everyone does. I like to just go out and have fun too... not always
up for a deep conversation. I am a movie fan (I prefer
classics
and horror films), love
reading, and am usually working on an
artistic
attempt of some kind.
What I’m doing with my life
Working, painting and getting a house
I’m really good at
Seeing the situation from another person's viewpoint
The first things people usually notice about me
I guess it depends on the situation as to what they notice first;
in a face-to-face meeting I would have to say my eyes. But I know
my quirky sense of humor is one of the things that people recognize
quickly with me; I love to laugh and have an odd sense of humor
that usually makes other people laugh as well.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Geisha, The Devil Wears Prada, the Looking Glass Wars books, the
Harry Potter series, The DaVinci Code, Geisha: A Life, and anything

Food: Sushi and Pizza are among my favorites, but I tend to be
fairly open to trying new foods.
The six things I could never do without
I am trying to figure out why so many people seem to be intent on
putting the obvious things here... like air, shelter, food, a job,
etc
Technically those would be the things EVERYONE could not do without
so why not try to actually answer the question beyond the obvious
and give some info on the things that really matter to YOU as a
person. ;)
Ok now, that being said...
My family and friends are very important to me. Without them I
would be lost.
I carry a journal around and not only write my thoughts, but also
inspirational quotes that I hear and sometimes even song lyrics
that strike me in some way.
My cats are great company and keep me from losing my sanity; and no
I am not a crazy cat lady.
Intelligent conversation... which seems a rarity at times.
My sense of humor which help me get through tough situations. :)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
my next artistic endeavor... whatever song I might have stuck in my
head at that particular moment... how I need to call someone back
who probably left a message for me days ago but I forgot about it
until 5 minutes ago
my mind tends to jump around to different ideas a lot
On a typical Friday night I am
I tend to stay in so I will typically relax with a movie and some
carry-out, or maybe some music and just chatting with friends
online. If I am going out, I am usually out wandering at First
Friday or catching dinner and maybe drinks with a friend.
You should message me if
You have any of the same interests as me (I think you have to have
at least something in common to be able to carry on
conversations)
or
You have a great sense of humor
