My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
if we view our life as a story being told, i'm trying to make it one that's worth looking back into.
i believe in letting the mind fly without fetters in search of the ideas or ideals that could add meaning and purpose to this existence! Thus it's getting increasingly important to be wary of the thin line between liberty/ free will (true intention), and lack of self-control (prisoner of impulses)!! pardon the pontification!

i'm mostly reclusive, but still...i can be a person to hang out with, to talk about the humdrum of life, do some creative stuff with (i can call myself a musician), or maybe someone to write to (if you're from a distant land)...
there are many ways to see joy on one another's face, and that's what bonds are about, aren't they? I'd like to adapt and evolve to make sense of these bonds (whether intense or casual), rather than view it from the rut of predetermined expectations.
This write-up summarizes a very long journey down the memory lane, so it may not make much sense to you at this point...what a drag?

by the way, please don't bother about those ugly pics taken with a lousy cellphone-cam! and i don't keep long hair anymore...(often prefer shaved head instead)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
for me art is about intense explosions of emotions expressed in peace and tranquility, while science is an adventure of creating order out of the diversity of nature through creative use of our intellect as we try to understand the nature and ourselves. i'm really passionate about these things and that defines my way of life.
but a man cannot be an i guess i need human interaction to feel alive.
every day i'm trying to learn a little bit of all these.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
forgive the bragging, but usually i'm pretty good at anything that requires brain power and time. (i've studied at prestigious institutions as well...but i don't conform to the idea of "branding")
and despite being sarcastic, i can make people feel better.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
never really inquired about it..hahaha
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: only physics texts!!

Movies: most of Martin Scorsese and Christopher Nolan films, Godfather, The Matrix, American Beauty, The Pianist, Star wars, animation movies like Kung Fu Panda or finding Nemo, comedy stuff Meet the Parents, etc. some of Satyajit Ray's films, not too experienced, but some world movies like Iranian ones i've seen, or something like Waltz with Bashir etc.

Shows: sitcoms like Seinfeld, Big Bang Theory...but not too fond of the idiot-box.

Music: Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, The Doors, Radiohead, etc.
instrumental rock like Joe Satriani et al; can't leave out my own brand of progressive psychedelic stuff that i compose for myself, some North Indian classical, little bit of Western Classical, world music, some 80s/90s pop/electronic stuff, etc. it really boils down to the song, not the performer/band.

Food: anything that's not too difficult to eat, and not too loud in terms of flavors.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
it's amazing how people love to do silly things when someone who appears to be authoritative dictates a set of actions as necessity. who says you got "6" things that you couldn't do without (if there is really any at all)? and yet everyone will start searching for 6 of them reaching out to the far flung corners of their mind... and if they fail to come up with anything meaningful, will come up with things like air, water, family, god or whatever...things that make the question redundant.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
i'll spare you the horror of listening to that in this fast paced world of ignorance and temptations.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
oblivious of the fact that it's Friday and probably playing the guitar by myself. everyday is friday for the grasshopper and monday for the ant. now which of these is me? (a question that confuses me all the time!)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
i'm quite unsociable...i don't have any facebook or twitter accounts and i've also stopped using a cell phone. (but probably i'll have to get one again). Well, that's not really private! I'm pretty much an open book.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
i can be open and friendly to strangers even if they are significantly different than me.
i'm clear and assertive about what i think or feel, but i'm not pushy/persuasive, nor argumentative.
so feel free to communicate.
