I am cool, dorky, and bad-ass.

My Self-Summary

i'm a visual artist, an avid music lover, beer and wine enthusiast, and i LOVE to travel. i'm into film, technology, cycling, cultural exploration, and all-around having fun with friends and family (and even strangers). i also indulge in sushi, frisbee golf, driving, and anything on the internets.

there's much more, just ask...

What I’m doing with my life

still figuring it out. guess i'll always be in some way or another, especially being single and open to all possibilities.

i love my career and always indulge in my passions (listed above)

I’m really good at

putting things in perspective, seeing the big picture.
speaking of which, i'm pretty fast at google image searching.

The first things people usually notice about me

i'm a good guy, funny, sarcastic.
i tend to be VERY impulsive. just get up and go...

funny thing: people (complete strangers) tend to ask me out of the blue, "where are you from?" i guess they can't tell what my ethnicity is and feel compelled to ask. cracks me up!

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

books: i have to admit i don't read many books. mostly just online news articles and art/music reviews. i also suffer from chronic wikipedia exploration. i do hope to make time to start reading classic literature as well as study philosophy part time.

movies: to name a few.... everything is illuminated, pan's labyrinth, the departed, clerks II, ghost in the shell, pulp fiction, life aquatic, usual suspects, lord of the rings trilogy, fight club, crouching tiger hidden dragon, clerks, casa blanca, kill bill, incredibles, akira, goodfellas, frida, pollock, drop-dead gorgeous, enter the dragon, the nightmare before christmas, the royal tenenbaums(actually ALL of the wes anderson collection), basquiat, corpse bride, memoirs of a geisha, clockwork orange, brick, cool hand luke, children of men, the 25th hour, run lola run, a bittersweet life

music: (this only scratches the surface, as i'm sure i'm leaving out a lot my favorites, but here goes...) radiohead, beck, decemberists, shostakovich, david bowie, fischerspooner, the cure, the roots, killing joke, puccini, the pixies, bright eyes, frank black, fiona apple, chopin, the killers, miles davis, sade, the beatles, the prids, depeche mode, mars volta, coldplay, mana, hooverphonic, the smiths, morrissey, postal service, social distortion, thievery corp, imogen heap, stravinsky, a tribe called quest, the sounds, the briefs, vivaldi, death cab for cutie, the shins, weezer, sparta, the faint, smashing pumpkins, dvorak, yeah yeah yeahs, spoon, placebo, elliot smith, verdi, muteMath, bloc party, muse, interpol, ours, keane, my bloody valentine, she wants revenge, LCD sound system, the sisters of mercy, arctic monkeys, the cult, modest mouse, U2, joy division, peter gabriel, peter murphy, the sea and cake, mozart, silversun pickups, pinback, kasabian, kaiser chiefs, john coltrane, gomez, sonic youth, the horrors, metric, r.e.m.

The six things I could never do without

1. bottle of whiskey at the house (after them long days at the office)
2. my cell phone unfortunately
3. central air conditioning
4. my eyesight
5. my italian racing bicycle
6. of course, women

I spend a lot of time thinking about

when i'm creating art or just hanging with friends and family, my mind stays focused on the moment.

when i'm by myself not doing much of anything, my mind shoots off in 900 different directions.

On a typical Friday night I am

i don't keep a typical schedule outside of work.

You should message me if

you are fun, candid, and open.
