I'm originally from southern Michigan but spent a decade as a transient. Mostly living in Florida working as a sauté chief. I loved it there. It was like a punk rock Neverland. I even got to tour the east coast a few times, playing in several bands. I just didn't want that to be my whole life and I desire a bit more as far as income. So here I am, in Saginaw, bored but very optimistic.
I try to be open minded, non judgmental, and understanding. I acknowledge my shortcomings and work on them as best I can. I can be shy or very outgoing, passive or very assertive. It just depends on my mood.
I enjoy the outdoors to some degree. I love the beach and used to live for skateboarding. Due to an ankle injury I stopped doing that aggressively years ago. I also enjoy relaxing indoors. I'm definitely a movie buff, music nerd, and comic book fanatic. I'm not into gaming so much anymore, but I still love the retro stuff like Nintento, Sega, etc. I've always been a fan of RPGs, too. The most current being Skyrim. I've also dabbled in Magic: the Gathering and D&D.
I tend to be more picky about an individual's persona or energy, rather than thier looks or interests. While it's nice to have similar interests, it can be very boring dating someone who is too similar.
I've been told that I'm very easy going. I'm not the jealous type, nor am I clingy. I enjoy my own personal space just as much as I enjoy affection.
I am an avid lucid dreamer and anything relating to the brain or the mind absolutely astonishes me. (I'm really into Biocentrism right now.) I enjoy the arts. I used to write shitty poetry while shit faced off whiskey and entranced in the grips of various psychedelics. Now I refrain from all of that. I do, however, plan on taking a trip to Peru within the next few years to partake in an Ayahuasca ceremony. I realize that I could easily brew it myself at home. I'm just really into the whole ritualistic aspect of having an indigenous shaman guide me through the experience.
Since moving back to Michigan I have gained weight. Remember when Joaquin Phoenix let himself go while trying that Andy Kaufman-esque stunt a few years back? Maybe a little more than that, but less than Zach Galifianakis. Maybe a young Zach Galifianakis. When he did that Purple Onion show. :)
