My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I would say that I am a positive person and I like to surround myself with positive people. I generally have a self deprecating sense of humor and refuse to take myself too seriously. I like to think that I'm pretty funny/fun to be around, myself. I might be biased though. A fair assessment would be that I'm pretty dorky; I embrace it.

Ultimately, I'm looking to meet someone who I enjoy spending time with. I'm open to things developing with the right person. I'd appreciate someone who is open to exploring new interests/ is altogether awesome. Just saying.

*Edit - So last weekend I had an epiphany. It was Sunday, and by mere happenstance all my relations and close friends were tied up with their significant others. Rather than sit around my apartment, I decided to take a decent length drive in search of these great tacos I'd heard about in the valley. The experience was enjoyable, but rather lonely. It dawned on me on the way home that this could have been a great adventure to have with someone I cared about. You know the whole thing: jokes, laughter, etc. That's where I'd really like to get with someone (not just anyone). I think it would make a huge difference in my life to have someone who could turn little trivial trips into great memories.

Things I like (off the top of my head):

Live Comedy - One of my favorite things to do. I have a great time, every time.

Walks - I enjoy exploring my neighborhood and others on foot. I could make a day out of it. It makes me happy. My friends think it's weird. Whatever.

Cycling - After a month or so of research, I just bought my first serious road bike. I have some grand delusions about racing eventually. I recently looked at myself in the mirror with all of my gear on, and totally wanted to give myself a wedgie. You gotta do what you gotta do though.

Bar crawls - This one probably won't help me win any points on here, as most women seem to stress the desire for maturity in their profiles, but it's the truth. Here's the thing, you have your standard drinking and merriment with friends, but then you throw in this element of adventure. Boom. It's kind of difficult to imagine many things that are more fun. I'm not that old yet.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now, I'm focused on simplicity. Just trying to enjoy life and set myself up for the future. I currently work in business development at an accounting firm in Century City. Held a similar position at an investment bank for a few years prior to that. Also, I am strongly considering getting an MBA sometime soon.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Introspection

Way too many books/movies/shows to list them all. A few selections off the top of my head are listed below.

Books: The Catcher in the Rye (cliche I know), The Lord of The Rings, A Song of Ice and Fire

* If someone wanted to talk nerdy to me about Game of Thrones/ASOIAF that would be super cool :) I'm on a roll on Quiz UP - this girl in India just beat me on the last question, but I say it was BS.

Movies: Good Will Hunting, The Grey, White Men Can't Jump, Rush, Without Limits (Steve Prefontaine is my favorite athlete)

Shows: Seinfeld (I quote it all the time), Curb Your Enthusiasm, Game of Thrones, The Big Bang Theory, House Hunters, South Park

Food - I've given this a tremendous amount of thought. After careful consideration 1) Thai 2) Middle Eastern 3) Italian 4) Mexican

It's kind of hard to be in a crappy mood when you are watching things like this.
