I'm outgoing and fun to be around. I am a mixture of hilarity and sudden sobriety of thought..I also have studied seven foreign languages, but I really remember my French and Spanish best and I speak them fairly well- I'm conversational, but not fluent. I do want to start teaching myself Italian this summer, though. I just conversed this morning with an Italian woman who was a customer of mine, albeit in Spanish (4-23-13).
factoids...I really am great with children, a fantastic scrabble player, good at pool, but not bowling and although I can enjoy an infrequent NFL game, am not so much a sports fan in general. I'm typically more entertainment-oriented and am more a 'life of the party' kind of guy, although I am fairly intelligent and educated. I also am a fair balance of a decent IQ as well as EQ, having been raised by my mother and maternal grandmother- an only child, the youngest of a ton of cousins as well. Does this help profile me somewhat?
I'm an Independent politically speaking, but lean conservative in many areas, left in a few others. If you're typically a far left leaning girl, I definitely recommend moving on. I'm also a christian (although far from perfect...).
I've never been married and have no children.

I also am tired of seeing plurals with possessive apostrophes online (ex. "book's" instead of "books"). I've recently lost over a lot of weight in the last year & a half, but have recently gained some back due to an injury that is slowly repairing itself. And I no longer have a goatee.
I am wanting to meet a christian woman who is intelligent, fun to be with and is neither into tattoos nor Obama, i.e. a fairly pensive, fun, attractive christian girl. Is this really too much to ask?

I've been into sales for several years now after completing my coursework at a christian seminary and subsequently deciding not to enter the ministry. I didn't really ever want to, but wanted the education for myself.

Foreign languages, sales, riding emus- not simultaneously.
I used to be pretty good at pool...I also was a full time eBayer for many years selling for several dealers and myself.

I've done phone sales, car sales, waited tables, sold professionally on the net and now sell books for myself.

I'm also a good listener- rare for being a talkative guy.
And I read body language quite well. It must be the whole language thing, I suppose. I'm easy going, but passionate concerning my beliefs and views, but not overbearing or forceful. I enjoy mindless comedy or action films as much as a political talk show.
I'm also good at dialect impersonations and do a great Christian Bale Batman voice, but I'm not Batman. I haven't been for years now.

I enjoy basic non-fiction reading for the most part.
I enjoy comedies and FAMILY GUY is hilarious. I also like Person of Interest, NCIS, as well as EVERY show that feature antiques or collectibles- e.g. Pawn Stars, Storage Wars, Antiques Roadshow, etc.
My favorite films include include The Holy Grail", the Avengers & Iron Man, and an oldie but goodie- American Beauty (the Kevin Spacey remake). I also like the way old movies like James Cagney or Edward G. Robinson gangster films, Bogart, John Wayne etc. I was raised by the youngest of seven siblings and all my old aunts and uncles visited often, thus I have a fairly robust knowledge of pop culture from the 1940's to present.

Music... alternative/rock, old and new- Muse, Thirty Seconds To Mars, Van Halen, Nickelback, Saving Abel, Tom Petty still!, Led Zeppelin of course, AC/DC, Five for Fighting, Damien Rice [solo stuff only], Adele's freaking beautiful and has a great voice, but her songs are pedantic, U2, the Beatles, James Blunt, Larry Norman, John Mayer, some classical (I love piano and violin)- OK...actually almost anything except for rap/hip hop and modern country or pop (i.e. Lady Gaga, etc).

As far as food I eat a a lot of produce, although I do eat meat and fish a couple of times per week. I'm really into natural health and healing and take supplements on a daily basis. My favorite types of food are probably Mexican and Mediterranean. And I never eat pork or shellfish- ever- strictly for health reasons. I also love a good wine, but I don't get drunk.

God, natural health supplements...family & friends, books, my cell phone, the internet, Mexican food, art, culture, foreign language, hey, don't count, it's my list and I'll add extras if I feel like it, bulldogs, cute little kids, digital photography, the nature of collecting itself, finely bound books (if you don't get this at all you may not understand art in general or me in specific) and I hate spiders.

I'm always thinking.....
