Favorite TV Shows: golden girls, smurfs, something with mr.
chinnery, animal face painting, or assisted living dracula. i like
bbc comedies and parks and rec on netflix makes me laugh. im not
sure how to answer this.
Favorite Movies: i started streaming netflix a few months ago and
it kind of changes everything. there are like 400 plus
documentaries in my instant queue and i dont know how im going to
watch them all. i usually prefer indie, foreign, usually
small-budget cerebral type movies... some faves: harold and maude,
being john malkovich, ratcatcher, high noon (gary cooper), citizen
kane, full monty, english patient (i have a weakness for epic
war/romance stories), breakfast at tiffany's (moon river? come on
the greatest song ever), a clockwork orange, the lord of the rings
trilogy, return of the jedi, trainspotting, toy story, amelie,
fargo, once, the brothers quay, an inconvenient truth, and what can
i say? i freaking loved march of the penguins... i really like bbc
documentaries like planet earth, the blue planet, and life in the
undergrowth and im not afraid to make you watch that stuff with
me.
Favorite Books:
this kind of changes a lot. im getting into craig childs right now
and i learned a lot from 'born to run'. ive recently found the
beginning part of 'book of the hopi' to be quite fascinating. i
have some richard dawkins books i need to read and of course, the
juicing bible. i had to read a lot in college and could list a
bunch of favorite writers from james joyce to tom stoppard but its
been years since i touched that stuff.
Favorite Food:
indian, ethiopian, vegetarian (though im not), thai, greek,
middle-eastern, mexican, italian, i prefer to eat rather healthy
but not always, chocolate, ice cream, cheese, nuts, dried fruit, im
pretty open to new things as long as you dont make me eat a lot of
red meat or weird animal parts.
