My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello,

I am the second youngest of eight children. I recently obtained my BS in Optical Physics and I moved to Madison in August of 2011 to pursue a graduate degree at UW-Madison in Engineering Mechanics. I've found that unlike the physics community, engineers seem to keep mainly to themselves. I prefer a bit more interaction than that.

I just came to update my profile, noticed all the grammar errors. Glad I didn't start out by saying I was an english major...

I am who I am, and I hide nothing. So what you see it what you get.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Still in graduate school. The past two semesters were quite brutal and made me question whether or not I should be here. But I'm sticking around.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Math, or so I've been told, and eating cookies.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
It used to be my long braids but they've been cut off. Now I'm back to my short hair. Past that most people notice that I'm on the tall side (6'2")
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books are for chumps and suckers and I am neither! Actually I love books and I'm starting to build a decent collection. My favorite set of books is the Foundation trilogy, by Isaac Asimov. I haven't read those in awhile, I think they could do with another read through soon.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
