My self-summary
I'm shy around groups of people I don't know, so I'm here in hopes of making some new friends, business contacts, whatever comes my way. I have a pretty wide variety of interests, from art and writing, to video games and outdoor activities. I'm extremely open-minded and will consider trying anything at least once. I just love new experiences. So there is a pretty good chance I'll have something in common with anyone who messages me.

I am thinking, adventurous, and fun-loving
What I’m doing with my life
Right now I am bar-tending/serving at a restaurant. I'm also going to school to major in physics.
I’m really good at
I have won several awards for newspaper writing for my high school student paper, so I guess I'm good at that. Drawing cartoons, particularly animals. I'm working on mastering other forms of drawing as well. I'm good at gaming, since I've been playing since I was 5. Yep, ever since the Atari and original NES. I got addicted! I would like to say I'm good at listening to people when they have problems. I enjoy trying to help them out. Apparently people think I'm good at being sarcastic. Not that I try.
The first things people usually notice about me
Well I'm not too talkative around strangers, so they wouldn't notice me until I said something, probably. They may notice my passion for certain things in life, if we start to talk about those things. People have accused me of loving to argue. I'm not sure that I love it, I just tend to defend what I believe.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
As for books, I don't read too much fiction these days. I like reading things that help me learn something new. My most recently read books are Richard Dawkins' The God Delusion (very highly recommend it, big eye opener) and The Reason Driven Life.

As a general rule, I really like horror movies. It's weird since I usually cover my eyes at the gory parts. I think the real old horror movies are great since they were meant to be scary but they're just too cheesy to be. I've just been getting into anime. Having run out of good options at Blockbuster, I've been checking out foreign films. For music, basically anything, just no rap, which isn't music anyway.

Food? I love food of all kinds. It's a wonder I'm not fat yet. Funny thing is, many people tell me I look like I don't eat!
The six things I could never do without
1. my brain and thinking 2. a car 3. cheese! 4. nature 5. art supplies 6. a notebook or computer with word processing
I spend a lot of time thinking about
-All kinds of things about religion. How I could have been raised religiously as a child, taught to believe all that stuff was THE truth, and never taught to instead question everything and apply some logic to the world. Once I managed to do that, it's been changing everything about my life ever since.

-If I will ever be able to find someone who looks at life the way I do, and where I might locate this person.

-What would happen if I went to live in another country right now. Or where I'd end up if I just got in my car and drove forever without a map.

-My future (getting through school, career, family, etc.)
On a typical Friday night I am
My Friday nights are not very typical. I'm probably out somewhere, doing just depends what's going on at the moment. These days I might be putting in time at work.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I consider myself quite romantic and wonder if anyone the same still exists. By romantic I don't count just buying some flowers for a girl and going out to dinner. Anyone can do that. And I don't mean romantic in purely a relationship sense. I mean, I'm not sure anyone still lives their entire lives romantically. I guess that basically, I would like to meet someone who has a real passion for life. And I love to sing, but I never do it in public. So you'd never know it! Guess now you do. The most recent private thing I can admit is that I used to be such a strong Christian, but over time I have started to develop many doubts. This makes me uncomfortable as if I'm on the fence between being Christian and being, I guess, agnostic.
I’m looking for
  • Guys who like girls
  • Ages 21–42
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating
You should message me if
If you want to talk about faith/religion or are having/had doubts like I am, message me, would be glad to discuss this. If you share my interests and want to talk about them. If you think we'd get along well. If you took my one of my tests and either loved it or wish to file a complaint. Also if you consider yourself philosophical or introspective. I haven't had a good, meaningful discussion as such since I got out of my high school philosophy class. Look forward to it!

I also now have an Xbox Live gamertag. If you are interested in gaming, send me a message so we can perhaps exchange tags and I can add you to my friends list.
