My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
The name I chose for myself here is apt. In the past year I have changed jobs, locations, friends, and religious beliefs. AIM: popfave

I am up for sale, seriously, and up for sale, cheap.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
It is damn hard to try to figure out how to get back into school once you've gotten out. I'll likely move West and go to school out there to finish my undergrad, then go for a library/museum science degree, and get a job somewhere that involves collecting and making available music while I pursue a degree in ethnomusicology or something similar.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
playing guitar and singing. I sometimes do open mics, but not often enough. I'm also great with linguistics, but that's not really something you can bust out at parties. I'm good at being friendly and kind, and those are assets that become more and more significant with time.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
If I'm in a good mood, or serving you at a restaurant, it's probably my smile. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it since I've started waiting tables. Now I need to figure out how to use my powers of amicability for evil.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

a) Cerebus, Dune, Sandman, Sherlock Holmes, authors H. P. Lovecraft, Garth Innes, Chris Ware, Truman Capote, Dorothy Parker. b) Dark Crystal, Donnie Darko, Annie Hall, Crash (Cronenberg, not Haggis, aothough i'm sure it's good), I <3 Huckabees, Big Lebowski, well, just about anything by the Coens. I can't watch movies over very often. As for TV shows: Twin Peaks (and the Fire Walk With Me movie), Mr Show, Arrested Development, Scrubbs, some of Robot Chicken. c) Joni Mitchell, Goldfrapp, Aluminum Group, Bob Dylan, Cardigans, David Bowie, Steely Dan, Belle & Sebastian. Getting into Gypsy music -specifically Gran Bregovic- and Delta Blues- specifically Blind Willie Jefferson (Blind Willie McTell is not as badass as Dylan would have you believe, by the way. Jefferson fits the bill better.)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) singing 2) hearing (and music to hear) 3) at least one close friend 4) sexuality 5) guitar 6) the occasional vivid dream
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
the future. the future in the most ineffectual way possible. I think of how I would behave as a rock star, a father, some sort of crazy old man cowbow type (think big lebowski, and I'm not talking about the dude here), a convicted felon...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
eh, lately it seems like someone always needs help burying a corpse, and of course who do they call. I am sick of waking up saturday morning with a hangover and covered with grave dirt.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Bacardi 151 has been my liquor of choice ever since it knocked me out, stole my wallet, and left me for dead in a dumpster around north halsted
