My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi people, I'm pleased to meet you. I'm never sure what to put here - I read a lot, practice tai chi, and probably role-play too much. I like most things that involves engaging my brain, especially conversations about odd topics that go in strange directions. I'm a geek and proud of it!

I have a fulfilling job that gives me enough time to spend on hobbies, and so I get to have fun with friends. I'm originally from London, but I've spent nearly half my life living in Dundee, and am enjoying it here.

Phew, this self-summarizing is tricky.

I am interesting, odd, and calm
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working part-time at a great job, as well as teaching some tai chi to interesting people, and trying to keep myself informed about everything that interests me.

Which is a pretty hopeless task, but fun!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Debating, staying calm, and thinking through stuff. Also, Tai Chi - good enough to teach it anyway.

Writing short stories, given a subject. Set me a challenge! It's fun.

I generally learn quickly, too.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Altered Carbon, Unknown Armies, Nobilis (yes, two are rpgs - so?), whatever interesting thing I read last. There are too many good books for me to really have a list of favourites, as I love them all!

Movies: Trickier... Strange Days, Stardust, The Usual Suspects. Those are the ones I rewatch most, anyway. Also The Secretary... :)

Music: I like lots of music, and have an eclectic taste - I can't name any particular favourites, though.

Food: Good food! Yummy food!

TV series: Okay, that's not up there - but still. Being Human was brilliant, Invader Zim is made of win, but Revolutionary Girl Utena is best of all! I could rewatch it endlessly, I think.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Interesting company, good books, gaming, discussions of random things, night time and weirdness.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Everything! Well, everything interesting, philosophy, science, religion, politics, people...

Why the world is so messed up, and what's going to happen next. How you get the figs in fig rolls. How the world makes more sense if you assume it's being influenced by crazy magicians with conflicting agendas!

Really, I tend to roam around in my thinking; the world is too full of interesting stuff and I'll never have time to consider it all.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I am rather kinky :)

If you want to know how kinky, you'll have to ask!

You feel like it, I guess. I'd like to hear from you if you want to talk - what's the worst that could happen?
