Lets see... I'm shy at first but warm up quickly once you get to know me, I love to read but don't have much time for it, I love to cook and eat good food, I love most kinds of music and movies, I'm from upstate NY but have been in NC since 96....

I bought a house in Feb 05 and my plan is to fix it up and sell it for a nice profit sometime further down the road then do it all over again. I'm hoping that someday that will be what I do instead of working. For now though I am owner of a small computer repair company. **Update** This plan is so toast! I love my house, have no desire to leave for the forseeable future and would much rather slowly fix it up for my own pleasure and then sell it many years from now... or not.

Next thing to know about me, I'm a people watcher, I'm not shallow, but at the same time I'm not real big on forced conversations about the depth of the human soul, every now and then, but not every night. I love a good debate, teaching or being taught something new is always a wonderful experience.

I've never been really depressed, but then again I don't really get super sugar happy either. I'm kinda balanced in the middle, I don't know if its better to slide back and forth from happy to sad more then I do, but its who I am and it sure does help me get through the rough spots of life.

Lets see what else.... I have **Had** a motorcycle and love **loved** to ride it. I'd love to find someone that also rides or at least enjoys a day out on the parkway. I'm a bit of a computer nerd and although I don't spend nearly as much time on the computer as I used to I enjoy building them, tinkering, and just futzing around with them, it's also my business so if you are in need of computer repair feel free to contact me... though asking for help here does not mean you get it for free :-P Building things is my passion I suppose, I'm always most happy when I can make something but don't often get the chance as building things costs money I don't generally have to spare.

Working.... a lot, trying to figure out what I'd like to do with myself and where I'd like to live.

I spend the majority of my days working and waiting to work. At night I like to hang out with friends, play pool or other games, watch a bit of the ol boob tube with the furry children (cats), I also love to build things. My last project was a work bench in the basement the next step on that will be to build some nice drawers so that I can store all my tools away.

I own a house but I'm not sure if I want to stay here. Asheville is a great city but at the same time I really have a hard time finding like minded folks here that aren't either too granola crunchy or right wing republican. On the flip side, I really do love it here so I doubt I'll be leaving anytime soon.

Fixing things, building things, visualizing things, remaining calm, not getting stressed out, falling asleep when my head hits the pillow.

I recently made a list of things I like for somebody and this seems like a good place to put it and make my profile that much longer...

I like to go hiking, wandering in the woods, take trips, just hang out on the parkway, go play darts or pool, I like fixing things, building things, watching educational television, finding new music, browsing dating sites just to enjoy beautiful women, reading strange out there fiction and post apocalyptic stories, I love cooking, eating at new restaurants, Asian food of any kind, cats and animals in general, I love learning the history of things, people and places, riding motorcycles on curvy roads and driving my car with the windows down and the music up when the weather is nice, taking pictures, looking at other peoples pictures, colorful art, swimming under water, flying (especially taking off and landing), I've never been diagnosed but I know I have mild dyslexia often mixing up my b,p,d and writing words in the wrong order, going to movies and talking about them after, spending holidays with my family, kissing somebody for the first time, I'm extraordinarily tactile and love to touch everything, lightning storms excite me, I'm over snow, don't ever get depressed, am nearly always positive, love any color if it's mixed with gray, would be very upset without cheese but can't stand milk, celery, canned tuna and Salmon are the only foods I avoid, I give excellent massages and loving giving them (see tactile above), lilac is my favorite scent, and my first memories are being in Hawaii and Mexico with my mother when I was 4, learning from others and my surroundings, art, traveling the world over and experiencing new environments, being successful, working hard, shoes, walking around downtown Asheville, seeing old friends, making new ones, taking photographs, talking- but not on the phone, cuddling, having my back scratched, movie theatre popcorn with extra butter, taking care of people i care about.

Usual Suspects is what I always give as my "favorite" but I can't really say I have one. I like all types, subtitles and chick flicks included ;) But tell me you like "A Knight's Tale" and my opinion of you will drop like a rock. Some shows I enjoy... What I want, falling in love, doing things other then working, reading more, taking more pictures, cleaning my house, fixing my house, getting out of the country for a lovely vacation, finding ways to build my business, opening a physical location for said business, exploring the world, meeting like minded people (see list below).

Friday nights for me are totally random. Some times I stay at home, order in or go pick up some good food and then watch TV. Even though it's over... Battlestar Galactica is a fantastic show and so much more then just a sci-fi space fighting show. Even in the simplest of things the score is magnificent, full of a very haunting almost middle eastern flavor. Weeds, Boston Legal, Pushing Daisies, Mythbusters, Dirty Jobs, Eureka, and Dr. Who which is a fun bit of tv. Wow since I wrote this half of these shows are off the air... Replace Boston Legal with True Blood, Pushing Daisies with Fringe, and Dr Who with who the hell knows....

Sometimes Friday nights are more exciting, going to a friends house and drinking, staying in with a good movie and the cats, friends at a bar, a fancy dinner. Lots of options and I'm always up for something new and different. Especially short travels to new destinations!

I'll answer any question put to me (try it I bet you cant ask something I won't answer), but I'm not spewing it for all to see.
