My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a pragmatic optimist. I'm motivated, messy, and friendly.

I love yoga, theater, neuroscience, comedy, visual art and thinking about art/commerce. I laugh easily and often but I take a lot of pride in my sense of humor.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working as a copywriter for genre fiction at a major publisher. Attend and support theater whenever I can. Ride my bike everywhere.

Short answer: I'm DOING IT, PETER.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making the best of unpleasant situations, finding the down-to-earth likability in high art, appreciating sophistication in crass art, remembering the lyrics to Disney songs, back massages, dancing in all out dance parties, handstands, figuring out people's celebrity look-alikes. And if babysitting has taught me anything, I'm great with making up games on the spot but horrible at impressions.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Tall, unkempt (bike), green eyes.

**I was lying by omission for so long on this one. It feels great to admit it after so long, you guys, we should all just admit it.

Early, arguably formative music: They Might Be Giants, The Beatles, Cake. Today I do Playlist Radio for: Cat Stevens, Wu Tang, Scissor Sisters' "Take Your Mama," Peter Gabriel's "Solsbury Hill" (and other notable songs from movie trailers), Otis Redding, ELO, angry punk rock with levity, Beyonce, Belle and Sebastian, Laura Branigan, "Call Me Maybe," and Jens Lekman.

Food: Indian, really good sushi, beer, one scoop mint chocolate chip/one scoop sherbet (Baskin Robbins), and flour tortillas. And obviously I like sriracha.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Consciousness, Traffic, Stories.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I look up airfare with intent to disappear entirely when I'm at my most depressed.
