Not your stereotypical nerd, I’ll confess to loving technology, engineering and science, but it allows me to do some pretty cool stuff too – like flying planes, traveling around the world and helping the poor. And no, I don’t wear a pocket protector to bed – or at all in fact. Basically I’m your ordinary guy looking to do extraordinary things. I’ve lived by that motto most of my life. I’m hoping to make a connection with an amazing woman whose personality and interests complement my own. That’s where I hope you come in…

I enjoy picking people’s brains by asking questions, and sharing interesting facts about stuff. My spirit of adventure isn’t limited to travel, and I’m always up for trying something new and exciting. Easy to talk to, I can hold up my end of a lively conversation, and you’ll find I’m interested in what’s on your mind and what you have to say. A good sense of humor completes the package, so if you’re looking for someone active and passionate who loves to laugh – you’ve found him!

You love life as much as I do, and while you may be a little shy at times, I would find that endearing. You exercise, eat like your life depends on it, (and it does) and have a “go for it” attitude when it comes to trying new things. Down to earth and humble, there is nothing pretentious about you. If you’re cool, cute, easy to get along with, and love to have fun – I may have met the best friend I can’t see myself without!

For the past year I’ve been designing satellites that go into space for Boeing, and for the last ten years I’ve been involved in various space related projects.

You might find me playing volleyball on the beach, jogging on the Strand, flying airplanes, (I’m a pilot) hiking or camping. Other times you might find me traveling, exploring the area, surfing the net, or playing video games. I’m open!

My latest read was “The Paleo Diet,” describing the ideal human diet that I try to subscribe to. Much of my reading is non-fiction, but Dan Brown and Michael Crichton provide the occasional dose of thrills.

Whole foods! Haha. But seriously, while I try to eat healthy most of the time, I do splurge occasionally on pizza at BJ’s. I also can't live without my Bose headphones, iPhone, car, water bottle and CROSSFIT!

The connections between dark matter, energy and parallel universes. Okay, just kidding, I don't think about that stuff THAT much. Usually, I'm just thinking about what delicious dish I'm going to prepare for dinner, how many hours left before I gotta hit up Crossfit and what I'll do over the weekend.

Traveling somewhere... I'm a travel junkie and I’ve barely scratched the surface of places I’d like to visit. So far I’ve traveled to over 17 countries and 40 states in the US, but I keep it local too. I enjoy the beach, museums, and National Parks of CA. :)
