My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm an excitable, procrastinating, life-loving, fiercely loyal, people-watching, coffee-sippin', libation consuming, panivorous, adventure-seeking, optimistic, passionate, dilettante of a girl.

I spent a good deal of adolescence seeking refuge in the darkness between street lamps, sippin’ 40’s, sitting around bon fires, and talking about aliens/ philosophical thought/ owning alpacas. But hey, we were all 16 once, right?

When I was 11, I wrote an "about me" and it said:
"My name is Chaleigh. I have to be doing something at all times. I love my little brother because he loves tragedies."

I grew up listening to NPR and being allowed only one, pre-chosen, hour of television a day. As a result, I miss a lot of references, still love NPR, but can also spend way too much time watching really terrible television.

One time, I created a new system of time that worked on a 100/75/50/25 scale. There were new minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, and years. My username is what would have been (should be) one of the 4 days of the week.

A few months ago, I converted half my room to a fort, complete with a t.v. that functions as a fireplace, 3 windows (one a real window), shelves and storage. It was made of boxes, sheets, paper, tape, nails, string, and tacks.

When I was younger I wanted to be a dog when I grew up. At some age, after patronizing chuckles from adults, I realized this wasn't an "acceptable" career choice. However, for years I held out hope thinking, "yes, you can't be a dog when you grow up, but I can."
