I have too many hobbies, but a few are playing guitar, listening to music at home and live. I like to draw and sculpt. I like to read and write fiction. I like learning about pretty much anything, culture, anthropology, science in general. I love hiking forested mountains trails and swimming in lakes. I'm not much of an ocean goer.

I am a laid back "B Type" person who loves the arts as much as the sciences. I am from the Midwest and have been in San Diego for three years now. I was married for twenty-one years and have two sons. One son is 18 and the other 20. My photos are about 4-5 months old, but I haven't changed much in appearance. I do look young for my age or at least that's what folks tell me. I will put some newer ones on when I get a chance.

I've been divorced for a year now. My divorce has left me a bit jaded, but my heart hasn't completely turned to stone yet. I'm hoping to find the right person, before it does.

I am pretty much an atheist and am not looking to be converted to any established religion anytime soon. If religion is that important to you, you may want to pass me by. I am politically neutral and vote on issues not parties. I do tend to lean slightly to the left though.

I work as a software engineer during the week, but on the week-ends I like to stimulate the right side of my brain with arts and cultural interests. I am also a member of the San Diego Zoo and like to go as often as possible.

Many things. Computers, guitar, drawing, sculpting, listening, thinking, problem solving, being funny(intentional and otherwise) and dancing.

Some of my favorite books include Lord of the Rings, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Elric Saga, Odd Thomas series, most of Steven King's works. Anything written by H. P. Lovecraft. I'm a love a good horror novel or movie.

Some of my favorite movies include Wizard of Oz, Shaun of the Dead, Army of Darkness, Saw movies, Apocalypto, Fifth Element and of course Lord of the Rings.

My favorite television series right now is Warehouse 13. Some old favorite are Firefly, X Files and the short lived Pushing Daisies

My musical tastes generally lean towards blues inspired musical styles such as blues, rock, southern rock, hard rock and early metal. I also like classical, 20s & 30s jazz, bluegrass and Irish folk music. Hip hop and country are my least favorite.

I will eat pretty much anything as long as it doesn't have onions in it.
