My self-summary
There was a time, where my life somewhat resembled Mickey Rourke's. I too, have hung up those boxing gloves for the big screen(though I am behind the camera)

if there's a moment where a camera is not on my shoulder: Whitewater rafting, Muay Thai, climbing up a big rock known as a mountain, Olympic weightlifting, trying to invent new quirky fusion recipes, and blowing cash at Ikea.

I love girls with ethics.
What I’m doing with my life
*Grant writing, grant writing, grant writing.

I made this silly dream a long time ago that I would become a filmmaker. I'm now trying to live that dream, in hopes I get to envision new ones on screen. To pay the bills, I've had to broaden my genre to shooting things like reality tv, corporate video, etc etc. Along the way though I score cool gigs like shooting PBS like docs or roller derby girls running over each other. At the end of the day, all my shoots give me the opportunity to see and experience new worlds I would otherwise never know. Considering I'm able to do that and afford Belgian Beer, I'm thankful.

Traveling whenever I can. There is so much out there, and I want to see it all. I am mildly obsessed with climbing different mountains around the world. Recently I got to chase down a childhood dream, and cartwheeled up(and down) Mount Fuji.

Riding lobster boats are the bomb too.
I’m really good at
Throwing my kettlebell. Cheering for my beloved Mets team, as they flail and fail. Taking photos of people at awkward moments of their day.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I am ethnically ambiguous. I've passed for mexican, brazilian, columbian, inuit, native american, russian, you name it. All are wrong though. Hint: A part of me was raised in Hong Kong.
