My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello, I'm Akira! I like my steak rare, my wine red and my coffee black. I ride my bicycle/Vespa (note that I also own a car), play tennis/bocce ball, thrift shop and cook. I'm a former mathlete, intramural soccer champion and I have no cavities.

I’m always down to try new things, especially restaurants, books, food, music and anything outside. I've recently gotten into the finer art of campfire cooking and reading classic American literature, like Kerouac and Calvin and Hobbes. I keep an open mind to everything except for raw tomatoes. If this is a deal breaker for you, I’m sorry.

I'm hip enough to have a tattoo. I'm dorky enough to understand most Harry Potter jokes. I'm dumb enough to cook bacon shirtless.

Short term, I enjoy meeting new people and eating fried foods. Long term, I have an awesome job that gives me the freedom to explore LA and travel.

Looking forward to talking with you!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm living and working in Santa Monica, and getting stronger and smarter everyday, like a fox. I moved down here from Seattle; there's free food/coffee/beer and pool table at my work, I'm in the process of making a cornhole set and I'm doing hot yoga. I listen to NPR, ESPN Radio and that radio station that plays 90's hits.

I recently went to the Narrows in Zion, biked the LA marathon course, and I'm breaking in my cast iron skillet with steaks, onions and cornbread. I discovered how great the game 'Spot It' is and learned how to spatchcock a turkey. I just got a new chef's knife, bread knife and paring knife and set up the knife magnet in the kitchen. The next brewery I want to visit is Golden Road in Glendale. I'm getting a tent, new sleeping set up and backpack and am preparing for a summer with lots of camping.

I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
