I'm quiet, dependable, adventurous, friendly and helpful. I'm the guy that'll stop and help a stranger on the side of the road, or let you go ahead of me in the grocery store line if you have two items and I have twenty.

I'm a mass of contradictions - an introvert that likes people. A quiet person who shares feelings easily. A religious nonreligious person. I'm not scared of talking about the three forbidden subjects - sex, politics, and religion. In fact, that's how I define a good conversation. I'm not scared to share my opinion and I'll listen to your opinion on any subject. If I disagree, I'll tell you and smile and we can have a friendly discussion about it. I've learned lots in my time on earth this way.

I have a strong personality - stubborn, earthy, hard working, dependable. I can be the immovable object.

I work, work some more, and then go back to work. I have a daughter who is focus of my life. At the same time, I'm trying to adjust to single life and setting up my new house.

Listening, cooking, being quiet, martial arts, reflecting.

I dunno. You tell me....but I've been told I light up a room when I walk into it.

My bookshelf has a huge selection of material: Fantasy, Sci-fi, Military history, history, art, religion, philosophy, and music. I studied at a Catholic seminary and have a life long love of learning. There are a small group of books that have really changed the way I look at the world: "I Heard the Owl Call My Name", "The Great Divorce", "To Kill a Mockingbird", The Tao Te Ching. Strangely enough, I'm also a fan of Louis L'amour

TV Shows: I don't have a TV, but I've been watching Mad Men on Netflix.

I love all types of food and am always willing to try something new. I love to cook (and it shows...) and love to fix a new recipe for friends.

Movies I love: The Mission; Hot Fuzz, The Fifth Element, Almost Famous, anything by Mel Brooks.

Music: you will find just about anything in my itunes library. Sinatra to Zeppelin; Eminem to Gregorian Chant; Bach to bluegrass. You will not find, however, current country music (bleah), nor will you find opera.

I still have one of my baby teeth. I was born without the adult tooth, and it has never fallen out. Strange but true!
