I am optimistic, emotion-laden, and expressive.

My Self-Summary

I smile and laugh a lot.

I have a fetish for funky glasses.

I like making things. I especially like getting dirty in the process of making things. I weld and blacksmith and have the scars to prove it.

For the vast majority of my life I considered myself to be an introvert but I am slowly realizing and coming to terms with my extroverted qualities. I enjoy people who bring out the extroverted quality of my nature.

I play with hula-hoops and poi (the spinning kind, not the food kind).

I can't wait to go home to Black Rock City next year.

What I’m doing with my life

Mostly I'm just enjoying it.

Making things. Spinning things (especially if they're on fire!). Reading things. Learning new things. Traveling to new places.

Smiling.

I’m really good at

Smiling. Laughing. Listening. Academics. Music Theory. Petting animals. Welding.

The first things people usually notice about me

My smile. My smile again. And then my energy.

The six things I could never do without

Carhart coveralls. My music collection. The outdoors. My Danskos (or Chacos in the summer). Daily hugs. Personal growth.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Where I can find a cat to pet. Or a dog. Or really anything that's furry and doesn't bite too hard.

Okay, so I don't spend a lot of time thinking about this, but it does cross my mind fairly regularly.

On a typical Friday night I am

Doing something that I enjoy. Which, in all honestly, are the typical things that 20-somethings seem to enjoy on Friday nights: going out with friends, staying in with friends, watching a movie, going to a show, going dancing, drinking, etc. I especially like cabaret, burlesque, and circus shows.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

In third grade I really wanted to be Peter Pan - I wanted to stay a kid forever. Somehow I came to the conclusion that if I convinced everyone else I was Peter Pan then I would be Peter Pan. So, for about a month, I pretended to be Peter Pan. I talked about Neverland, struck the clasic Pan pose, tried to wear a lot of green, and tried to get my friends to call Peter Pan instead of my real name. Sadly, it did not work, and to this day I am still not Peter Pan.

I'm willing to tell everyone absolutely everything about me if they just ask me directly.

You should message me if

You're not trying to get in my pants. Or my skirt. Or dress. Unless you just have an honest interest in wearing my clothes - which would be totally cool with me.

You understand literal and sarcastic humor (see above).

You speak and write in complete sentences.

You've bothered to read my relationship status.
