Some important information: I am a new mommy! My son was born on Sept. 5th, 2011. I am not with the father. He lives in South Korea and isn't involved. I just thought that would be pertinent information you might like to know before reading through my whole profile. Feel free to inquire further should you want to know more.
I'm a very complex person who is simple at the same time. I'm not a dramatic person - getting worked up over things doesn't help in dealing with them, so I prefer to just deal and be happy. Most people would say I'm an optimistic, outgoing person.
I enjoy going out and meeting people and need a partner who enjoys being sociable on occasion, too. Not all the time, but often enough. I prefer to go to classy places with live music rather than a dumpy, smoky bar. I also like my down time to relax, take a warm bath, read a book, or just chill in my own head.
I'm also looking for someone who shares my joy of the outdoors and traveling. I especially love to go camping and canoeing. I go to the springs near my house to swim and kayak often. I love going to the beach, too. I really love the water. I taught swimming for three years, it was by far my favorite job I've ever had.
I get pleasure from researching anything and everything that interests me - which is a lot! I'm probably on google way too much looking up my newest question or topic of interest. I particularly am drawn to the medical field. I like reading. I like learning. I am a life-long student. I hope to find someone who also has a thirst for information.
I'm not looking for a fling or a romp in the hay. I want something steady, and if you aren't looking for that- just exit my page now, please.
I majored in Elementary Education in University. I love children and I love seeing them learn. I hope to one day go to graduate school for Speech-Language Pathology, but that's on the back burner now that I have a baby on the way. I've spent the last two years living in South Korea teaching English. It was a great experience and I learned a lot from it! I also hope to travel the world more someday.
I have a shih tzu who is the sweetest dog I know. I will also have a cat once I settle down. I love animals of all shapes and sizes and will always have pets.
