After this many years I have tried many things and like to learn as
much as I can about what I am doing. The internet is a boon to
discovery. I learn something new every day. I'm creative and
resourceful which certainly helps in creating a new lifestyle at
this stage in life. When I have the ground available I can grow
anything and will landscape even a tiny plot.

Even though I am reserved I am inquisitve. Meeting so many new
people has been a joy and an eyeopener. Now in retirement I can
indulge in new adventures.

I read historical novels so I can keep learning. I grew up roaming
the stacks of libraries as my mother was a librarian. Music from
the 50' and 60's is my favorite for dancing and I am getting to
know more about the blues and jazz. Cooking and going out to eat
are a treat with someone special.

Nothing is typical yet. Before retirement I was catering and it was
people, food and music. This winter I would enjoy the happy hour
where we dance to the oldies then have a warm hearth and heart to
snuggle up beside.
