My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
OK, just to get this out of the way - yes, I uploaded a picture of myself with my shirt off. BUT I'm doing a race--I'm not some Axe-Body-Spray-wearing d-bag that takes cellphone pics of himself in his bathroom mirror and uploads them to Facebook.

Now that we have that taken care, about me...Well, I'd say I'm a little on the sarcastic side (in case you couldn't already tell), my friends would say I'm fun, funny (I'll definitely make you laugh--and I did improv for a year so I can back it up). I stop to pet almost every dog I see - bonus points if you have one. I'm comfortable doing pretty much anything. I've jumped out of an airplane, played guitar and sang in front of a few hundred people on more than one occasion, written a children's book, acted in a couple plays, done nine triathlons including an Ironman and the Chicago Marathon. I'm also currently in the process of trying to break a Guinness World Record (not kidding, actually). So it's safe to say I'm always up for something new and fun and challenging. That being said--I'm not one of those people who never stops--in fact, they can kind of get on my nerves. I like chilling out at home and watching a movie or a game as much as the next guy. On the weekends you'll generally find me out having a few drinks and laughs with my friends. All work and no play is no way to live, right?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Well, work wise I've been freelancing for the last couple years. I'm a writer/creative director for a major ad agency - mainly coming up with conceptual work for campaigns. Oddly enough that led me into some on-camera jobs so I've even gotten into a little acting and voice-over work recently, which has been a lot of fun. In the summers I train for and do triathlons, and still devote a lot of my time to staying in shape in the off-season. Nothing crazy. Don't worry I'm not a workout nazi haha.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Hmm...kind of a tough question to answer. I'd say making people laugh is my #1 best skill. I've loved doing that ever since I was a little kid. I've been told I can cook, play guitar and sing well but you'll have to be the judge of that.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a big personality and I like trying to add some fun to anything I'm doing, especially at work. So not sure how to describe that...but...that.

As far as books, anything by Bill Bryson. I've read them all. I'm not into fiction and am generally drawn to any good non-fiction story. I know it's super cliche, but my favorite movie is Shawshank Redemption. I can listen to just about any kind of music, but country will get on my nerves after a while.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out with my friends grabbing a few drinks.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I wept uncontrollably after watching "The Notebook." I'm kidding. I haven't even seen that movie. But I think this question is kind of ridiculous so that's my answer.

You're bright, interesting and attractive. Or at least two of the three. I need someone who I'm always comfortable being myself around--someone I always have fun with. I LOVE making people laugh, and would like to find someone who appreciates laughing 'til it hurts, or 'tll they nearly pee their pants (as long as they're not on my couch). If you ever catch me taking myself too seriously, I fully expect you to bust my balls about it until you get a laugh out of me--since I'd do the same to you. Everyone should be able to have a good laugh at their own expense.

You should want to ride the grocery cart to the car instead of pushing it, 'cause it's way more fun. And please don't take the little things I do for granted, or not return the favor every once in a while. Don't get me wrong, I love doing them. But so should you.

And it'd definitely help to be at least a little dynamic. If you go to work all day then come home every night and watch TV for five hours and go to bed, you're probably not for me. I like to show people new things, but I also like to learn from them and really appreciate people that have filled their lives with interesting things/experiences (or are at least trying to) so that we've got something to talk about.

And if you want to know anything else about me, just ask!
