I am obtuse, abstract, and pythagorean.

My Self-Summary

I am originally from California, by way of Hawaii and Colorado. I study improv in the city and generally enjoy challenging people be it through laughter or thought.

I don't want no scrubs.

What I’m doing with my life

Making you laugh.

I’m really good at

Staying busy, meeting new people. Acting like I know what I'm doing, occasionally making you laugh, Apple Computers, listening to good music.

The first things people usually notice about me

that I look for humor in everything. If you can't laugh, then stop being an asshole!

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: I think High Fidelity is probably the greatest book written in terms of modern fiction. As far as others go, One Hundred Years of Solitude, A Farewell to Arms, 1984, and Fear and Loathing are some of my favorites.

Movies: Shawshank Redemption, Fifth Element and High Fidelity are my top three.

Music: I like Chicago indie and acoustic stuff, among other shit.

Food: If it tastes good, I'll eat it.

The six things I could never do without

1. Friends and Family. The two are the same to me.
2. Humor. Thank whomever I can laugh at the complexity of life.
3. Improv. It's given me direction.
4. My hands. They allow me to write!
5. Music. Oh lordy.
6. Newcastle. Damn Good Beer.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

how people define themselves.

On a typical Friday night I am

drinking, nerding, socializing.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I would kiss Carl Sagan if he were still alive.

...if you think posting your professional headshots on OKCupid or Facebook is ridiculous and embarrassing.
