Here we go, in no particular order: The Name of the Wind, Out of
Sight, James, and Sushi, the Harpers Biography of Sir Richard
Francis Burton, the Empire Strikes Back, and Burritos; Ready Player
One, Anything by Joe Abercrombie or Richard Morgan, The Killers,
Gnarls Barkley, Rome, Dexter, Game of Thrones, Shameless, the
Walking Dead, the West Wing, Firefly, that song Up from Below,
Aliens, Planetary, Actual Innocence, Thai food is good, the Ken
Burns Civil War series, Frontline, The Bridge of San Luis Rey,
Transmetropolitan, John Keegan, Stephen Ambrose, anything by Errol
Morris, Joan Jett, John Krakauer, Edith Piaf, Like a Friend by Pulp
and if you know where I heard that the first time we may very well
be good, great friends...
I love fiction and nonfiction, both. I won a couple of competitions
at my local library for most books read in the summer of 1st and
2nd grade. I think I kind of coasted through school after that
intense reading experience, but I love reading. I love literacy. I
love libraries. There is nothing quite so much like heaven on earth
as a library, perhaps the arms of a good woman might give it a run
for its money...
Understand that I read rather widely and like to try new foods, I
guess of the three my music tastes are the most... unrefined, I
suppose, is the word?
