My Self-Summary

I'm a bit of a nomad, having moved cross country 4 times in the past 4 years. I've lived in 4 different places this year alone... and I own a house. I take opportunities when I get them, if it doesn't work out, it's still a good story.

I prefer to have a few very close friends to a lot of acquaintances. I know a lot of incredible people, I love them dearly and spend a good portion of my yearly budget on trips to visit them. I travel to see people, not buildings. That said, I crave exploration and love wandering through new neighborhoods and cities. I love taking walks and discovering hidden nooks and crannies. My favorite dreams are dreams about finding hidden doorways or previously unnoticed pathways that lead to exciting discoveries.

I'm semi offended that OKQ has decided I'm not very desiring of love. I would love love, I just don't try to force it, and I enjoy myself in the mean time.

What I’m doing with my life

I spend more time thinking about how I want to live outside of work than planning my career. I'm pleased with my work (internet stuff), my current company, and my future career prospects. After lots of wandering, I'm trying (trying is the operative word) to settle down a bit, develop deeper ties to my surroundings and community. It's a vague answer because I'm still figuring it out.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

The first time a boy ever called me for something other than the day's homework assignment, I chatted with him for a few minutes before blurting out, rather confused, "why are you calling me??" He hesitated, and finally admitted, "uh... I, uh, guess I just wanted to talk to you."

What's more embarrassing, this same interaction occurred the second time he called me as well.
