I really don't think this is easy because as the great Scottish poet Robert Burns said, "if only we had the wisdom to see ourselves as others see us". Here goes! I'm an easygoing, non-materialistic, down-to-earth Taurean with a good sense of humour and a slight stubborn streak. I am educated. I love cooking (mainly vegetarian with a smattering of "other"); I enjoy good food and good company. I am a great proponent of the "Low GI Diet". It works well. I'm a totally sane man in an insane world and I have no baggage. I firmly believe that the world needs more humour (or humor as the Americans would say)!

I enjoy a clean, simple, well-ordered life. I'm gainfully employed (and really love the type of work that I do). I'm solvent and I'm happy after some rather nasty experiences in my last relationship. It is said that growing old is obligatory but growing up is optional and age is just a number! We are all passengers on the ship called life.

I'm a good listener and not judgmental. Your looks are not important to me. I can make people laugh (I also have a sense of humour!). Speaking English as it should be spoken & I enjoy an intelligent conversation. I cook creatively, particularly vegetarian cooking. I'm too modest to call myself a culinary genius!

I'm bald, have bad skin and I'm rather ugly :) Other than than I'm told that I'm a nice guy and that I have a calming effect on people. Oh and my sense of humour which is a little offbeat at times. Have I mentioned that already? Here's a self-made joke of mine. Did you hear about the gay criminal? He decided to go straight. Enough of this idle banter!

I am no TV or movie addict although I do enjoy the odd movie. I prefer radio to a moving image in the haunted goldfish bowl! I am crazy about internet radio! Movies that I like include "Notting Hill", "Four Weddings & a Funeral", "Actually Love" (awww, could I be an incurable romantic?). I mainly read non-fiction; music ranges from Bach to the Beatles and beyond but I mainly listen to classical music. The only music genres I don't appreciate are rap, heavy metal & techno. I've been known to go to an occasional opera or live stage show. I like British radio comedies like "The Goon Show", "Beyond our Ken" & "Round the Horn" and I must admit to liking "Monty Python's Flying Circus" et al. I am a definite fan of Tom Lehrer & his words and music! I like laid-back music and love the music of Burt Bacharach, Old Blue Eyes and others! I have developed a love for baroque music and of the many baroque composers I would pick Handel (there's a subtle joke there, folks. See if you can find it!). Food - mainly vegetarian with the occasional bite of fish and sometimes a piece of chicken or (heaven forbid!) beef! I like a decent glass of red wine occasionally. Me is uncomplicated!

Hell I don't know. Every morning I think about getting out of bed as I'm not a morning person. Hmmm ...... I really don't know! I think about why some people smoke or do drugs? Or why they don't use their indicators when they drive! I have an absorbing interest in the Latin language (yes I know it's old!) and languages in general. I do think that it's better to be born lucky than rich (and I've been rather lucky so far) and why so many people would rather have their ears wrapped around a cellphone instead of talking to those around them. Folks tell me I have a very old mobile phone!

There is no "typical Friday night"? It could be anything from watching a movie or surfing the internet to dancing or eating in a restaurant.

Oh, I wish I was more artistically inclined. And then there are things we could discuss when I get to know you better. Otherwise privacy reigns.

You like what you see, you are a down to earth person, a non-smoker, are not into drugs or booze, you have a sense of humour or wish to speak Latin (by the way that's a joke!). You should be reasonably sane as this would be a definite plus in your favour!
