My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Thinker. Conversationalist. Liberal. Dog Lover. Yogi.

I grew up in a town of less than 2,500 and graduated high school with a class of 60. I've lived in cities ever since including Dallas, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and New York. Chicago has been my home since 2002.

I've traveled to some amazing cities around the world, and have a long list of places I'd like to visit. In the past, I made a living playing tuba, cooking super fancy food, slinging expensive wine, teaching at a culinary arts college and running my own restaurant.

Dogs are a big part of my life. My three little ones are a constant source of laughter and love. To know them is to love them.

That's a good start.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Practicing yoga. Mentoring people. Walking the dogs. Drinking beer. Working in R&D. Riding my motorcycle in the warm weather.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Whistling for a cab, opening a bottle of beer with a Bic lighter, emptying a dishwasher, telling a joke, cooking (especially French and Italian), trivia, reaching high stuff in the cupboard and sleeping.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Blue eyes and a facial scar. I'll save the scar story for later.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
There are very few things I could never do without. Food, water, shelter... think Maslow.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What I am learning from life. What’s next. Where I can travel/vacation this year.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Could be on a date. Could be relaxing with dogs. Could be listening to some live music. Could be passed out on the couch while Jimmy Fallon plays in the back ground.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I can't think of anything that wouldn't incriminate me, so...
