My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Finding myself at 60 years old, still feel like a kid. 3 sons, divorced since 2000 (mom left the kids and me, so single parent here for many years, in case you're wondering). Been in show biz for 40 some years (produced scriptwriter and published author, photographer, film maker, and of late directing a teaser for a movie about wild mustangs). Love to find a mate who is creative, free in spirit, will run through life hand in hand with me as we enjoy all the wonderment of God's fantastic creation.

Prefer the mountains over the ocean, prefer small towns over the big city. Open, honest, and eyes wide open to love others the way Christ loves them. Try to walk in another person's shoes, and listen to other points of view with open mind and loving heart. Country boy here, and still believe in chivalry. Artistic, creative, affectionate soul that has been a Christian since I don't remember when. Love horses, archery, camping, bicycling, photography, astronomy, seeking new adventures, researching new things. Certified different.

Looking for a woman who, like me, has never "been in the box," rather one who has always been outside of it. If you're looking for a bad boy, that wouldn't be me. If you're looking for a (humbly speaking) terrifically fun nice guy, then I just might be your kind of duck. I've never treated a woman like a doormat, and have never been threatened by an intelligent woman who has a great turn-of-phrase (actually it's a turn-on, and keeps me on my toes).

Rather flexible in where I live / will be moving soon. That's the arts for you.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Script writing, producing, being creative, and enjoying being with my kindred mates.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being there for others, unpretentious, creative, and I don't believe in boredom. Also, I'd like to add, can make any one laugh.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Besides being tall? I would hope people would notice, that I'm genuine. That I can look into your eyes, and you know, that I care.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I like history books and the older classics. Favorite authors would be Jack London, Mark Twain. Of late, Ross MacDonald, Annie Dillard.

Favorite films - Casablanca, Citizen Kane, The Quiet Man, The Searchers, Harvey, Some Like It Hot, and my most favorite fun romance - Love, Actually.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1 - love and forgiveness from a loving, living God
2 - my kids
4 - my friends
5 - the arts and the creative spirit
6 - romance, affection, chocolate, dancing and walks in the rain
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How I'd love to be a blessing to one woman. Secondly - how can I win you over each and every day. I'm in want to be your best friend.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
If nothing else, I am never typical.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'd rather snuggle with you on the couch after dinner than worry about the dishes. (Key word above is "willing to admit".)

You truly want a (humbly speaking) nice guy who will listen to you. If you're looking for a bad boy to walk all over you, that wouldn't be me.
