Freelancing in the arts, I'm a produced screenwriter, published author about to be published again, photographer. Have worked in show biz professionally for 40 years, and not now looking for a day job because I'm working in the arts. Yes, there really are people who make those movies, stage shows, art works, you all watch and pay money to see. As I told my middle child once upon a time, when he was in Little League, don't tell your friends daddy is working in Star Trek VI, because no one will believe you. He told them anyway, and no one believed him.
I'm proudly not an accountant, a businessman, ditch digger, teacher, office whatever, mechanic, computer guy, I'm in the arts, and I'm going to be very very very weird to your lifestyle - if you're use to the ordinary, the complacent, the routine, or even the bad boy (artists, in nature, are never bad boys. We tend to be romantics, lovers, adventurers, and see each morning as new, exciting, and away we go).
Thinking I'm better off with someone who can grab my hand and run with me in this insane business as the arts.
But can't date now, anyway.
Having way too much fun.
Artistic spirit, who loves adventuring out into the wilds. I gravitate toward the mountains, open country, to rivers and lakes, love hanging out with the wild animals, taking pictures, long walks along dirt paths surrounded by impossibly tall Redwood trees. I like the oneness that two individuals can bring together - separate, different, but as one. I am kind in spirit, have never treated a woman like a door mat (watching my parents love each other until the day they died helped me to see how a relationship is best worked). I learned from my dad how to treat women with dignity, equality, respect, faithfulness, appreciation and love. I'm a believer in the fairy tale because of my dad.
I'm a Christian who is more focused on love and forgiveness than worrying about the rules of religion, if you catch my drift. I don't judge, I listen. "Take the log out of you own eye, so you can clearly see the speck of sawdust out of your brother's," and, "help those who cannot help themselves," being two of my favorite Scriptures.
I'm all about kindness, forgiveness, being thoughtful and treating others the way I'd like to be treated. I'm love centered and not material world centered. Mine is a creative/artistic soul. I thank God for each and every day, and wake up feeling the world is new and I am young again.
Friendship, I doeth believe, is an awesome foundation to build a relationship upon. I think, therefore, that one should marry their best friend. Would love to have a partner, a mate, someone to adore and spoil, and make her feel she is the only woman upon this earth of ours.
