My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi there, my name is Kyle and thank you for visiting. Let's see, I'm proud to say that I recently graduated with honors from Appalachian State with degrees in Political Science and Business Administration. I moved to Asheville in August of '14.

For starters:
I like to consider myself pretty athletic. I work out just enough to stay in acceptable shape...but I'm not gung-ho enough to take away my burger and fries, haha. Like most people in Asheville, I love the outdoors. My favorite is hiking, but I recently picked up trail running. I grew up playing sports year-round and still play/watch them as much as my schedule allows.

A few things I like:
I like murder mysteries, crime fiction, and historical fiction novels. Name a board game, I'll beat you at it. Two sugars and cream for coffee. Everyone loves to travel, but I have a few specific destinations I want to hit before I kick the bucket.

What I'm looking for:
Let's make conversation first and see where it takes us. I love a girl that is intelligent and enjoys having intellectual conversations. I also find a girl that is very adventurous and spontaneous extremely attractive.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a Sales Representative for the minor league baseball team here in Asheville. It's my job to sell sponsorships and group ticket packages. I love my job and working in sports is a perfect match for me.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
- making you laugh
- reminding you of things you would otherwise forget
- giving advice
- providing random factoids
- coming up with original ideas for places to go and see
- reading a good book in less than a day
- organization...keeping things tidy
- Grammar, punctuation, and spelling
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
- My ability to speak sarcasm fluently
- I'm not afraid to laugh at myself
- There's never a dull moment when I'm around
- I'm a big sports fan.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Harlan Coben, Agatha Christie, and James Patterson are my favorite crime/murder mystery authors. Shelby Foote, Bernard Cornwell, and John Jakes are my favorite historical fiction authors.

TV: Shows I'm keeping up with regularly right now (this is an ever-changing list): Quantico, Agents of Shield, Big Bang Theory, Last Man Standing, and I'm re-watching Burn Notice on Netflix. I also watch something sports related on a daily basis; usually ESPN.

Movies: I enjoy comedy, action, based on true stories, animated family movies, and an occasional romcom. Favorite actor is Jason Segel and actress is Natalie Portman. I'll have to admit I'm not a big fan of Will Ferrell movies. I find his movies entirely too stupid.

Music: acoustic blues, indie, alternative, and a little country. I'm old fashioned; I prefer am/fm radio as opposed to an iPod, Pandora, or Spotify. For you locals that can relate: 97.7 The Brew and 98.1 The River are my top two stations.

Food: Allergic to shellfish. Other than that, I'll give it a go.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Family & Friends (counts as one)
Entertainment...Netflix, Internet, Music, etc.
Laughter (seriously, life would be completely different without it)
Coffee/Sweet Tea
Outdoors...especially in the mountains
Atlanta Braves baseball
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why do we drive on parkways and park in driveways?
Why isn't "phonetic" spelled the way it sounds?
How does the guy who drives the snowplow get to work in the mornings?
Why are there Braille dots on a drive-up ATM?
What was the best thing before sliced bread?
Why call it a building if it has already been built?
Why is abbreviation such a long word?
Why does your nose run and your feet smell?
Is there another word for "thesaurus"?
If corn oil comes from corn, vegetable oil from vegetables, where does baby oil come from?
If pro is the opposite of con, is progress the opposite of congress?
Why can TIER and TEAR be pronounced the same, but TEAR and TEAR be pronounced differently?

Seriously, what did Ok Cupid expect me to put here?

If you can answer any of these or would like to share some of your all means, please do.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working for the Asheville Tourists baseball organization...we get free bar tabs at Barley's, The Lab, Wicked Weed, and One World you're likely to find me at one of those locations on a Friday night...that being said, I'm not a heavy drinker. One or two drinks is enough for me.

Then there is the occasional night where watching Netflix and not leaving the couch makes for a perfect Friday evening as well.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My parents made me be a penguin for Halloween when I was a kid. I hated every moment of it and still regard it as the worst Halloween ever.
