My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi there, my name is Kyle and thank you for visiting. Let's see, I'm proud to say that I recently graduated with honors from Appalachian State back in May. I moved to Asheville back in August '14.

For starters:
I like to consider myself pretty athletic. I work out just enough to stay in acceptable shape... then go home and eat a burger and fries, haha. Like most people in Asheville, I love the outdoors. My favorite is hiking, but I recently picked up trail running. I grew up playing sports year-round and still play/watch them as much as my schedule allows. I come from a southern family (not redneck) where I was taught manners, politeness, and especially how to properly treat a lady.

A few things I like:
I like murder mysteries, crime fiction, and historical fiction novels. Name a board game, I'll beat you at it. Two sugars and cream for coffee. Everyone loves to travel, but I have a few specific destinations I want to hit before I kick the bucket.

What I'm looking for:
Let's make conversation first and see where it takes us. I love a girl that is intelligent and enjoys having intellectual conversations. I also find a girl that is very adventurous and spontaneous extremely attractive.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently working full time as an inventory manager for a merchandising company at hardware stores in Asheville.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
- making you laugh
- keeping you entertained
- giving advice
- being that person you can vent to
- coming up with original ideas for places to go and see
- reading a good book in less than a day
- organization...keeping things tidy
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
- My plethora of Nike shoes
- I'm tall and skinny.
- Sarcasm is my second language and I can speak it fluently.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Harlan Coben, Agatha Christie, James Patterson, Shelby Foote, are among some of my most read authors. Of course I've read Hunger Games, Harry Potter, Divergent series, Maze Runner, and probably many more of the popular books/series out there.

TV: Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Friends, Boy Meets World, Sons of Guns, Fast N Loud, Duck Dynasty, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, New Girl, Ground Floor, Walking Dead, Impractical Jokers, and of course ESPN.

Movies: Saving Private Ryan, Hurt Locker, The Warrior, The Bourne series, The Patriot, Transformers, Crazy Stupid Love, Grown Ups, Shrek, Despicable Me, Pirates of the Caribbean, etc. I'll have to admit I'm not a big fan of Will Ferrell movies. I find his movies entirely too stupid.

Music: you name it, I probably listen to it, but Country is always my go-to.

Food: Allergic to shellfish. Other than that, I'll give it a go.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Family & Friends (counts as one)
Entertainment...Netflix, Internet, Music, etc.
Laughter (seriously, life would be completely different without it)
Coffee/Sweet Tea
Outdoors...especially in the mountains
Ability to play sports
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why do we drive on parkways and park in driveways?
Why is Charleston Southern Univ. in North Charleston?
Why isn't "phonetic" spelled the way it sounds?
How does the guy who drives the snowplow get to work in the mornings?
Why are there Braille dots on a drive-up ATM?
What was the best thing before sliced bread?
Why call it a building if it has already been built?
Why is abbreviation such a long word?

Seriously, what did Ok Cupid expect me to put here?

If you can answer any of these or would like to share some of your own...by all means, please do.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I'm usually out with my friends or co-workers at one of three places: The Lab, Thirsty Monk, or Pack's Tavern. This all depends on what's going on that night...I can explain more if you're interested.

Then there is the occasional night where watching Netflix and not leaving the couch makes for a perfect Friday evening as well.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My parents made me be a penguin for Halloween when I was a kid. I hated every moment of it and still regard it as the worst Halloween ever.
