My self-summary
I love to climb. Mostly just because it makes it easier to reach the items on the top shelf at Superstore. As a bonus, it also provides me with a high amount of grip strength, which means I give a mean massage. I also enjoy slack-line, longboarding and running/walking. So basically I'm highly mobile even if I don't have my car. Anytime I can get outside to soak up the sun is okay with me.

This year I want to jump out of a plane. Preferably with a parachute strapped to my back. Any takers?

I love music. I always have something playing at work or at home, though I should probably start closing my kitchen curtains so my neighbors don't think I'm 100% insane. (My dancing is shamelessly awful.)

I love a good book paired with a nice cup of coffee sitting outside in the sun. (Seriously, I love the GD'd sun.)

I'm a former journalism student, so I appreciate proper grammar. Usually my own is decent lol (strong emphasis on decent).

I love to make people laugh. However, puns are my jam., so most people just groan. What do you call a cow with no legs? Ground beef!

Intelligence is rad. That being said, there are many, many ways to be intelligent. Fortunately for me, not much intelligence is required to be a welder.

I'd like to meet someone to explore the world with, someone to adventure with. But I also enjoy the occasional quiet night in. Or we could quietly explore the world.

If you made it this far - and at the very least I made you exhale sharply through your nostrils in amusement/befuddlement - send me a message!
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a third-year apprentice welder. It's a sweet job! However, it's not the end of the line for me. I plan on getting my helicopter pilot's license and maybe a degree later on. I just want to do jobs that are fun!
I’m really good at
I have a fantastic sense of balance.

I can change the oil in my car in minutes.

I'm a good listener. For me, the secret is shutting up and letting a person talk.
The first things people usually notice about me
Some people see me as intimidating, but I try to be friendly with everyone. I smile often.

I'm an avid climber, so my forearms are rather large. My friends call me Popeye.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Some of my favourite books: Game of Thrones series (A Song of Fire and Ice), World War Z, Harry Potter.

Movies: I love movies that make you think, or ones with interesting dialogue, or good choreography, or silly action, or hilarity etc. I love Tarantino films, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Fight Club.

I love music. I couldn't imagine not listening to music almost all day. Even at work in the fab shop, I get to play my music.

My tastes are always changing, but The Black Keys will always be my favourite artists. Right now I'm also listening to Kendrick Lamar, Tame Impala, Cold War Kids, Vampire Weekend, The Sheepdogs, Alabama Shakes, and on and on.

I will eat almost anything.
Top of the list: Shanghai noodles, home-cooked meals, chicken wings, pizza, peanut butter.

Bottom of the list: Beans. Can't deal with the texture. Unless it's in Chili. Then it's delicious.
The six things I could never do without
1. Honesty
2. My longboard and smooth asphalt in the summertime.
3. Coffee
4. Curiosity
5. Connectivity (with other people, and/or a good wifi signal :P)
6. Love
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Life in general. I like to think about where my life is going and the kind of person I'd like to have along for the ride.

I think about traveling and living in other places.

How people work. I click really well with some people, but not others. Questions that have a definite yes/no answer are boring.

People are rarely a yes/no question.
On a typical Friday night I am
Climbing, out with a small group of friends, or doing whatever I feel like.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I really don't get Crocs. How the hell are they still in business?
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 20–31
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
You feel like it. Or I caught your eye somehow. Or you want a climbing partner. Or you love coffee.
