I currently attend the College of Lake County in Grayslake. I have finally made up my mind about what I want to do with my life. I'm going into automotive technology to become an automotive technician (what most people would call a "mechanic"). I love working on cars, and I'm not afraid to get dirty. There have been times that I come inside the house with hands and arms black as can be and grease smudges on my clothes and face and be smiling from ear to ear.

But don't worry, I'm not always covered in grease. Haha.

I'm generally a pretty shy person at first, but tend to open up more if I find similarities with the person I am having a conversation with. I'm a very laid-back person, but I'd like to find an amazing girl who can help me to be a little more outgoing.

I'm one of the most caring people you'll ever meet. When I'm with someone, I fight to stay with that person and will do whatever it takes to make it work.

I don't smoke, I rarely (if ever) drink, and have not slept with anyone. So I guess you could say I'm borderline straightedge.

I have a twisted (somewhat dirty) sense of humor. If you don't like it, well I'm sorry. I'm not going to change.

Right now I'm going to school full time, and I work part-time at restaurant that serves the best pizza in Lake County! (In my opinion, of course :D )

Cooking! (or so I've been told) I can be creative with the things I make.
People tell me I'm a great listener.
I'd say I'm a pretty good bowler. Yes, a bowler. And yes it IS a sport!

Being mature (when I want to be). I may only be 19, but most people I meet say I act older than I really am. Get to know me, meet me (maybe), and make your own judgement.

Dancing to ska! I do it at (almost) every ska show I go to, and I even do it throughout the house sometimes too!

My height, and that I'm a relatively quiet person.

I haven't read many books lately, nothing has really sparked my interest.

Movies: There are so many good ones out there, but I do like Shawshank Redemption, Blackhawk Down, Day After Tomorrow, FnF, etc.

TV: Well, when I have the time... I like anime, cooking shows, No Reservations and Bizarre Foods (Travel channel), CSI. On occasion I'll watch Mad Money and the stocks on CNBC: I think it's good to be informed about the direction of our economy.

Music: I mostly listen to 80s-90s alternative, rock (punk, metal, etc), reggae, and ska. I'll honestly listen to just about anything if it has a good rhythm to it.
Some bands: Flogging Molly, The Pogues, Oingo Boingo, Operation Ivy, Minor Threat, The Clash, Amon Amarth, Sinai Beach, Element Eighty, Third World, Bob Marley, Midnight Oil, Smashing Pumpkins, Frank Sinatra, Mozart, The 101ers.

Food: Just about anything. I am willing to try anything at least twice. I love tea, sushi/sashimi, (pretty much anything Asian)

I don't really try to dwell on particular things. Right now I've been thinking a lot about the things that have been stressing me in my life: school, car, engine rebuild I'm doing, work, health, etc.

Afterward, it depends on what time I get off of work, and if anyone wants to do anything. Which is rarely the case, so mostly it's off to bed for me. Lame, I know. Haha
