My self-summary
I'm a driven guy that's always up for a challenge, be it mentally or physically. A little off the wall and candid, but I can be serious when necessary. I love having a good time (alright, who doesn't?), be it at home watching a movie or out at the bars with friends. I love playing sports and am currently involved in kickball and soccer. I don't really follow horoscopes (even though they can be eerily accurate at times), but I'm a typical Leo: fiery, passionate, and a little hot headed. I might be tough to crack at first, but don't let that make you think I'm not interested.
What I’m doing with my life
I graduated from WSU-V in 2011 with a double major in Humanities and Creative Media and Digital Culture. I currently manage an office for a local shipping company and am in training to become a marine surveyor.
I’m really good at
being a goofball. People typically laugh at things I say, which I'm assuming is a good thing and a sign that I'm funny? Or it may be because I suffer from a Jessica Simpson complex. Chicken of the Sea, anyone?
The first things people usually notice about me
My quick wit and amazing (see also: bitchy) charm. No, I kid, lately it's been my eyes. Achievement unlocked.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Musically, I'm like an iPod set to shuffle or a Pandora station that doesn't always follow a specific algorithm. I love imported acts from the UK, anything on the Top 40, some rap and hip-hop, and indie acts. Some of my favorites include: Marina and the Diamonds, Little Boots, Girls Aloud, Sugababes, M.I.A., Charli XCX, Florence + the Machine, La Roux, Kylie, and Katy B. Of course, I've got mad love for the Holy Spearit.

I enjoy watching action flicks, dramas, comedies, and z-list horror movies. I'm quite content making a night of watching the amazing selection of straight-to-dvd classics that Netflix has to offer and poking fun at how absolutely terrible they are.

As for television, I'm a little too heavily invested in crap reality tv. I hate to admit, but I find the Real Housewives fascinating in all their scripted scenarios. I also enjoy sitcoms and am addicted to Chelsea Lately and American Horror Story.

I have currently been reading comedic memoirs and the True Blood books. What would my English professors say if they knew?

I'm not a food snob and will more than likely eat anything. I try to avoid fast food unless I'm trying to soak up alcohol at the end of a Saturday night. I really enjoy Indian and Middle Eastern cuisines. And Tex-Mex margaritas.
The six things I could never do without
Music, companionship, phone, food, vodka, gym.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Honestly, I spend most of my days wondering whether or not my phone will die before I get home from work, and if random acts of kindness will indeed pay it forward.
On a typical Friday night I am
probably blowing off steam somewhere with friends or hanging out at home.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
The first concert I saw as a kid growing up was the Spice Girls. I don't know how I flew under my parents' gaydar for so long, but you know, that's how it goes sometimes.

I also, shamelessly, read the first book from the '50 Shades' trilogy. And it was just as terrible as I imagined it to be. But what can you expect from Twilight fan-fiction? Needless to say, I had no desire to finish the series, and I think that might be the best decision I've ever made in my lifetime. I know, I set the bar high for myself...
I’m looking for
  • Gay guys only
  • Ages 26–32
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
you have a good head on your shoulders, kind eyes and a nice smile, a career you're passionate about, and have read at least one book in the past six months. If you know who Girls Aloud are, by all means, step to the front of the line....

Be different and exciting, but not so much so that I can't introduce you to anyone. This isn't Grindr, so please say something more than 'hey' or 'sup' to get my attention.
