I have a recurring dream of suddenly discovering through a variety of means a secret room in my house that is my one special place. It is hidden by a fake wall and is reached through a secret corridor or back staircase. Every time I come upon it in my dreams I am relieved. It has that odd combination of seemingly totally strange (the light is different, the furniture is different, even the air is different) and yet completely comfortable.
