My self-summary
I laugh at the worst jokes, like to learn new things, wear too much flannel, and stick to my convictions. I love sitting around with friends just talking about life drinking a few beers. Kind of weird and possibly getting weirder. Definitely not getting more mature. Always been a bit nerdy and geeky.
What I’m doing with my life
Just moved to a new place in Orange. Spending a lot of time setting the place up. Or at least trying but really spending too much time drinking with my roommate.

Working as a project manager at an installation company. Pays the bills, get to work with my hands, and moves around.

Golfing a bit more now that the sun is out... I mean what the hell I could golf anytime in California but for some reason there is still a golf season. Trying to get some time together for a road trip. Or even getting friends on board for an Angels game. Slowly recovering from the hockey season and game 7's.
I’m really good at
Hands down useless knowledge and pointless references. Though one day woodworking will for sure get on this list. I am really good at doing dumb things that then get photographed by my friends. Like falling out of a golf cart while driving it standing up and hitting a bump. These sort of things happen quite a bit.
The first things people usually notice about me
Paul Bunyan-esque, goofy grin, mediocre beard, but great eyes. I mean not to brag.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Some of my favorite authors are Vonnegut (specifically Cat's Cradle), Tolkein (I have read The Hobbit a ridiculous number of times since my Grandfather first read it to me as a child), Jordan, and Twain.

Groundhog's Day is probably one of my favorite movies of all time. Though I will pretty much watch anything some of my other favorites are The Sting, Mallrats, His Girl Friday, Singing in the Rain, Serenity, and Clue. I also love comic book movies, fantasy, sci-fi, action, really everything but horror.

I really like Castle, Community, Psych, Suits, Bones, New Girl, How I Met Your Mother, Parks and Rec, 30 Rock, Archer, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Modern Family. Though when I am bored I will watch anything. Or at least leave it on when I do other things. Watching a lot of panel shows lately.

I think most people love music so I wouldn't say I love it more than anyone else but it is extremely important to me. I listen to at least something from every genre. My top bands are The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Black Keys, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Sublime, and Chiddy Bang. These are just some of the bands I like.
The six things I could never do without
1. Family and friends. I guess most people put this but it's probably for a good reason. I was raised putting a lot of emphasis on family.
2. Driving with the window down and music up. I commuted to school in San Diego so I got real accustomed to driving the 5 near sunset and getting that nice ocean breeze.
3. Music. Whether playing it or listening to it nothing soothes the savage beast better.
4. Books. I love getting into stories. I have spent countless nights reading instead of sleeping just trying to read one more chapter and then another. This is also why I love a lot of movies, I never get enough of good stories.
5. Netflix. Though sometimes I feel like it is just filler for other things I could be doing it might be one of the best things ever. I love watching movies and it is nice to have a catalog available whenever I please.
6. Tacos. Just seriously if I have to explain it we might not be right for each other.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Currently planning a road trip. Thinking the Pacific Northwest. Also I tend to have a lot of time to myself and my thoughts tend to drift.
On a typical Friday night I am
Mostly out with friends. Love going to the Ducks games so with hockey season coming up that'll be a big one. Occasionally I head up to Hollywood to hang with some friends who moved up there.
You should message me if
You have any cool spots to recommend on the way up to Seattle. Or you want to argue about something. Just tell me what and we will get at it.

Also I seriously do have other shirts. I don't know why stupid things happen in the red flannel.
