My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I laugh at the worst jokes, have some sort of knowledge about a lot of things (jack of all trades master of none comes to mind), and stick to my convictions. I love sitting around with friends just talking about life drinking a few beers. Lately I have been trying to broaden my horizons, joined a softball team, looking into going camping and trying to pull together a road trip. Apparently I have a tendency to talk about serious things. I guess I don't do chit-chat well. I seem to be committing to a lot these days. Always want to do everything.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working at a small furniture installation company as a project manager. One day I might take it over, but who knows right now.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Useless knowledge. I have a knack for remembering things that don't matter. This extends to the borders of useful knowledge too, I just have a real skill when it comes to knowing things no one should care about.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Recently that I went from no hair to very short hair. I mean no one has said it but I know they are thinking it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Some of my favorite authors are Vonnegut (specifically Cat's Cradle), Tolkein (I have read The Hobbit a ridiculous number of times since my Grandfather first read it to me as a child), Jordan, and Twain.

Groundhog's Day is probably one of my favorite movies of all time. Though I will pretty much watch anything some of my other favorites are The Sting, Mallrats, His Girl Friday, Singing in the Rain, Serenity, and Clue. I also love comic book movies, fantasy, sci-fi, action, really everything but horror.

I really like Castle, Community, Psych, Suits, Bones, New Girl, How I Met Your Mother, Parks and Rec, 30 Rock, Archer, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Modern Family. Though when I am bored I will watch anything. Or at least leave it on when I do other things.

I think most people love music so I wouldn't say I love it more than anyone else but it is extremely important to me. I listen to at least something from every genre. My top bands are The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Black Keys, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Sublime, and Chiddy Bang. These are just some of the bands I like.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Family and friends. I guess most people put this but it's probably for a good reason. I was raised putting a lot of emphasis on family.
2. Driving with the window down and music up. I commuted to school in San Diego so I got real accustomed to driving the 5 near sunset and getting that nice ocean breeze.
3. Music. Whether playing it or listening to it nothing soothes the savage beast better.
4. Books. I love getting into stories. I have spent countless nights reading instead of sleeping just trying to read one more chapter and then another. This is also why I love a lot of movies, I could never get enough of good stories.
5. Netflix. Though sometimes I feel like it is just filler for other things I could be doing it might be one of the best things ever. I love watching movies and it is nice to have a catalog available whenever I please.
6. Tacos. Just seriously if I have to explain it we might not be right for each other.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Currently planning a road trip. Thinking the Pacific Northwest.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Softball season ended so now I mostly go to Ducks games or go get dinner/drinks with friends. I spend time with my family as well.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I can't sing. At all. But I'll be damned if that is going to stop me from trying. I guess I also have made really dumb bets that have cost me my hair.
