My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Thank you for stopping by.
Originally from France (Brittany to be more exact) , I have been in the USA for 19 years. Beside my accent, I believe that I did adapt well to this new environment :) Actually I love the lifestyle here.
I have been divorced for more than 2 years and am looking to building something serious and adventurous at the same time.
A few information that might be of interest for you:
- Being born and raised by the ocean, I have a strong attraction towards it. The idea of having a sailboat to travel is really really appealing...
- I am in a good place with a good work-life balance; but strongly feel that it will be even better to share with someone. I do not have too many friends but they count. I prefer to take the time to build something strong. In short, a few is often better than many. My organizational skills are not my strongest suit though.
- I am a very driven individual (after all I am a Taurus); know where my goals are and how to get to it. Not always successful but often worthwhile. I play fair but to win, however I know when I loose and take that as an experience that will serve me better myself.
- Professionally, I am in a very comfortable place, I guess years of experience does pay off after all (yes, I am not 20 anymore). Now I have arranged my work-life balance in a way that I believe is harmonious.
- Children: I am a strong advocate for children, more into mentoring than coaching them. I do what I can to help them when possible. I could always do better though. I do not work with kids but financially help associations working this goal in mind.
- Health: I want to be able to physically do as many things as possible so I do exercise 6 days a week and consider it is important to keep up.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Having fun living.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
- Finding a good deal.
- Laughing about myself.
- Sailing.
- Helping my son to develop his skills.
- Enjoying a personal time.
- Working.

Well, that would my strong French accent.
I promise I'll speak slower at the beginning :)

Book: Rather than books, writers: Barjavel, Le Clezio, Saint Exupery, Arthur Miller, Steinbeck.
Music: Classical, Jazz, Blues, R&B, pop, many music but metal and not too crazy about country either.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My son, my iPhone, my music, a newspaper, a coffee in the morning, my reading glasses.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Lately, I heard that an estimated 220,000 Somalians people died of starvation in 2011, more than half of them were children under 5. This was due to lack of action on our side and decision from extremist Islamic militants to ban international help. I am upset that our society do not act upon that and, as an adult in this society, I feel responsible of not doing enough about it.
This might not sound like a dating material, I know. However I do not accept this terrible things as fate.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Thinking if I should get a sail boat and prepare myself to sail everywhere when I will retire.

You consider that there is an adventure ahead of us; If you like to explore new things; If you see the glass to be half full.
Also, please do not put pictures of you 20 yrs ago, I do not think this is fair for either of us, yes we might have a date together and even enjoy the conversation but chemistry is also about physical attraction.
PS: Mine are recent.
