My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a very social person with a big interest in people but I also have a passion for knowledge. I love traveling and I love learning languages. I'm verbal and enjoy a good discussion about anything really.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
my good manners! or maybe rather my glasses... difficult to say.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Difficult to choose... but I like the books of Philip K Dick, William Gibson, Jorge Luis Borges and George Orwell. At times I read alot of science litterature too when it is needed of me. Now and then an occasional book in spanish but it's still alot of work. Especially if it's good spanish litterature - then it's hard work with the dictionary.

Might be good to avoid watching general television but I have a few favourite shows nevertheless and most of it is HBO.
Game of Thrones is the best fantasy in a long time! Like Tolkien for adults. Who doesn't like war, love and politics in middle earth:ish setting? :)
The Wire might be the best drama show on television ever. Humor shows I really like are Curb your enthusiasm (better than Seinfeld ever was) and the quite different Arrested development.

Action or horror film are generally not for me so instead I go for good drama in all its forms. A few I like: Todo sobre mi madre, Volver, Weekend, Brokeback mountain, The ghost writer, Carnage. Try to watch as much spanish stuff with subtitles as possible. It's such a pleasant way to keep the language up to date! (next best thing to conversation) Enjoying a movie and at the same time picking up a few new words.
Old classics: The big lebowski, Blade runner, 2001, Solyaris. Favourite romantic film: Lost in translation (no contest), it is perfect!

An omnivore when it comes to food, I enjoy new things in general. A good new beer is always welcome!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
a good conversation, a good book, my music, salsa dancing, homemade food and the outdoors.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
know all that is knowable, learn all that is learnable.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
dancing a bit of salsa.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a strong penchant for making nice little sets of paper cards with spanish words to learn. Three words per card with swedish translation on the back side. Perfect to have on the bus, on a break or just when out walking!
