My self-summary
I love the diversity of people in the world, which is probably why I'm trying to make a career out of talking about the strange things our strange species does. Peoplewatching is a big past time, there are some real characters out there.

I highly value my friends and rely on them a lot for personal and intellectual stimulation. I'm looking for people who can hold intellectual conversations but who don't take themselves too seriously. I like having the option to delve into Conversations (ya know, not just conversations), but more often than not, I just shoot the shit. Fun and silliness are just as important as thoughtfulness.

I enjoy smiling, cuddling, and laughing and try to surround myself with people who make those activities possible. Compassionate love isn't something that should only be reserved for our nearest family and closest intimates; it's really something I wish were more a part of standard social deference, something one human being should have for all those around him/her...unless they're that jerk from the grocery store who always takes two parking spaces IN THE FRONT because his car's too nice. Really? If it's nice enough to take up two spaces, it's certainly too nice for your American flag and McCain Palin 2008 bumper stickers. Jackass.

Oh, also, the OKC name is not a commentary on body. It's the Russian name for a hairstyle I sometimes sport, CHOOB-chik.

What I’m doing with my life
going to graduate school to get some letters after my name that will prove that I have something interesting to say about stuff, specifically music and culture. It ain't glamorous, but at the end of the day, there's not much else I'd rather be doing.

sexuality (and sex...let's be honest here)
how my government can justify legislated discrimination in the 21st century.
whether or not gay rights are more important than queer revolution.
On a typical Friday night I am
probably drinking, laughing and with friends somewhere. otherwise, you can find me at home in my pj's having a movie night with my roommate. Both possibilities are sure to involve me dancing in some way shape or form.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm probably a little more than partial to men with hair (facial, body, etc), but that's certainly not a requirement.
I’m looking for
  • Everybody
  • Ages 23–36
  • Near me
  • For new friends
You should message me if
you are outgoing enough to do so, are interested in possibly making a new friend and you can write something more substantive than 'what's up?' I love meeting new people but can be somewhat picky on who becomes more than a friend or acquaintance.
