I'm a college student and an aspiring historian. I'm usually either swamped with schoolwork or bored out of my skull. There's rarely any middle ground. I like being intellectually stimulated, but sometimes I just need to vegetate and watch Spongebob for a few hours to give my brain time to defrag.

I come off like a hard ass sometimes, but I'm actually pretty friendly and have a good sense of humor. I like all kinds of humor, from witty to crude.

I'm looking for a intelligent woman with a kind disposition, whom I enjoy talking to and being around and who wants to be in a romantic relationship.

I have one more year until I finish my undergraduate degree in History. I hope to go on to graduate school and eventually get my Ph.D. If that doesn't work out, I'll probably try to join the Civil Service.

Books: Harry Turtledove, Harry Potter series, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, History, Biographies, etc. etc. I loved Animorphs as a kid, and I've been buying the re-releases for Kindle. I love my Kindle and I take it pretty much everywhere.

Movies: Lots... Star Wars, Harry Potter, Back To The Future, Smokey and the Bandit, Tombstone, Pulp Fiction, Kevin Smith's movies, War movies, Superhero movies, and teen comedies like American Pie and Superbad.

TV: How I Met Your Mother, Two and a Half Men, The Big Bang Theory, My Name Is Earl, That '70s Show, Pawn Stars, American Pickers, Family Guy, The Cleveland Show, American Dad, The Simpsons

Music: I grew up on country music and I still loves me some George Jones, Conway Twitty, Hank Williams Jr., Charlie Daniels Band, Waylon, Willie, and Merle, etc. I like classic rock like AC/DC, KISS, Poison, and others I can't think off off the top of my head. I've been getting into punk lately. So far I'm loving The Offspring, The Clash, Sex Pistols, and Against Me! I'm open to suggestions on more punk bands to check out.

Food: Asian, Cajun, and Mexican food.

I live with my parents. I'm a college student, which is roughly the equivalent of a full time job and a half that I pay for the privilege of doing. I can't keep a regular job AND keep my grades up. Getting into grad school is more important to me than keeping some crappy minimum wage job.

Also, this is probably a good place to admit that I was married for a few months in 2008-2009. It was a stupid youthful mistake and it was so short lived that it barely even counts.

I once freaked out because I was briefly convinced that the number 2 didn't exist.
