My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I consider myself driven and ambitious person and hope to make an impact in whatever endeavor I apply myself to (if it's worth doing, it's worth doing well, no?). Of course, the serious and pragmatic side of me is often at odds with the hyperactive, insatiably curious kid that shares space in my noggin.

I've been blessed with a great family, who, for the most part, live close by. I especially look forward to corrupting my little nephews as they grow up (shhhh, don't tell my siblings;). Overall, I'm pretty happy with life and would like to find someone to share the ups and downs with.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
After changing career paths a few years back, I'm working hard to establish myself in my new role. It's made me into a bit of a workaholic, but my job keeps me engaged and I enjoy the constant challenge of it.

I also coach football for my old high school, which is a nice way to pass a fall afternoon. If I've got the time, I try and find volunteer events around town (when your mom is a social worker, you tend to want to help out when you can;)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Getting things done. I've got a strong work ethic and am stubborn as a mule (and twice as smelly! I keed, I keed;)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Errrr, probably my laugh. It can be a bit loud when it gets away from me;)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I'm a bit of a bibliophile, so I'll read just about anything from accounting books to non-fiction brain candy. I especially like getting recommendations from others as it gives me a chance to learn more about that person based on what they suggest!

Movies: Hmmmm, I've found that the level of movie theater etiquette (i.e. talking during the show, texting, etc.) has gone south in recent years, so I normally steer clear of them. I can't think of anything that I wouldn't give a shot and my tastes vary with my mood. Redbox is my friend:)

TV: Don't really watch much nowadays. Back when I used to The Daily Show, Good Eats, anything on Discovery/History channel (nerd alert!:) were generally what I had on my DVR.

Food: I'll eat anything and am pretty open to trying new things. Being a proper New Mexican, the spicier the better!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
- My friends & family (including my cat:)
- Books
- Lively conversation
- Challenge (I like the sense of accomplishment that derived from overcoming obstacles and solving puzzles...call me a glutton for punishment;)
That's about it. I'm not a demanding soul when it comes to the accoutrements of life:)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Everything. I'm a naturally curious person and there are few subject matters that can't be made interesting with enough imagination. Since I'm a wee bit of a workaholic at the moment, I think a good amount about how to develop my employees and create stronger teams (lame, I know...but true!).
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Embarrassingly enough, I'm usually sleeping. I work a lot, and weird hours at that, so I take any chance to catch up on my sleep. Once my work schedule dies down a bit, I'd like to get back to the occasional night out for dancing and dinner parties with friends and family.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Silly rabbit, private things are private for a reason;)

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If there's a little bit of a nerd in ya:) Smart, funny and willing to put up with my weird schedule. Above all, if you're not content with what is but always striving towards what could be (it really is the journey that's important...the destination often pales in comparison:).
