My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Well. This is more of a daunting task than I realized. You would think for someone who studied journalism in college, this whole writing thing would come a bit easier. Alas, not so much when it's about one's self. But, much like the Doc in Back to the Future, I've done it! I know what to say! Prepare to be dazzled and amazed beyond your wildest dreams...OK OK so maybe that is over zealous but still...

Imagine if you took unicorns (That's right, not just one unicorn but a whole bunch of them!), the charm of Seth Rogen, the awesomeness of a Michael Bay explosion (the only thing he does right in movies), a shot of your favorite alcohol (bonus points for whiskey) and shake it all up! Now, throw that beautiful concoction in the oven, let it cook for a bit, and pull it out. Top it off with some down south manners (Texas boy here) and BAM! You've got me!

Jokes aside; I am a college educated, Texas transplant, who has called the city of angels home for over 5 years now. I came out here with the dream of pursuing a career in the entertainment industry. So far, so good on that. Along the way, I have done a whole lot of really cool things, had opportunities beyond my wildest dreams, and gotten to meet some of the most fascinating people one could ever imagine.

I should mention that I am also a nerd in many ways. However, I don't really read comic books, (with the exception of The Walking Dead and that only happened because of my having withdrawals from the show being on hiatus) but I do love comic book movies and TV shows.

Disclaimer: It has now occurred to me that even though women love a man who can cook (and I do love cooking) that there is something funny and maybe even a little wrong about me writing about myself like that... being a Jew and all. Some of you will get this joke and laugh and others of you will hate me and curse the ground I walk on. Oh well. I try not to take things too seriously I guess and I always try to find the humor in life.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Pursuing happiness.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Finding humor in most situations. I am also told I am great with people and have a warm personality that makes them feel comfortable around me. I like cooking and have been told I'm not too shabby at it. I tend to be a creative person, so problem solving and creative type things are also something I have a knack for.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am told my warm personality or if we are going strictly on physical attributes then it would be my eyes and I guess also my eye lashes. I am often told that I have gorgeous eyes (not to brag or anything) but then people also (mainly older women) say the same thing about my eyelashes and that they want them. I am not sure if I should be flattered or insulted by this. Ha.

Oh boy here we go...

Well, I am a TV and movie junkie. I mean after all, I work in the crazy world of entertainment so that is bound to happen. Trust me when I say there isn't enough space here to fill in all my favorite movies or television shows. Chances are if you are watching it. I probably am too...or will be willing to at the very least, give it a shot.

As far as music goes, I am a Texan so you know I love my country music. Yes, yes I will take you out two stepping if you think you can hang. I also love old school hip hop and even a few of the modern hits, classic rock, and some new age rock.

As far as reading goes, I tend to read lots of scripts. I also have a love for all things Harlan Coben.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
family, friends, Netflix, music, excitement, chick-fil-a
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I am one of those people who always sees things/events and wonders how they could be turned into a good scene in a TV show or a movie. Does anyone else do that? I also spend a lot of time thinking about the future. But I always try to make sure it doesn't get in the way of the present.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Each week it differs. However, after a week at work, it usually consists of doing something with my friends. However, since this question is probably more about finding out what I like to do when I go out...

I love going to the movies, concerts, anything near the ocean. I tend to not be a heavy drinker, but more so a social one. However, every once in a while I still have those nights out that I regret the next day. I also tend to go for bars/pubs over crazy clubs.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I tend to be an open book. However, I don't feel everything about one's self needs to be posted online. Once I get to know you I am more than happy to share anything and everything about me you could want to know. :)

You share any of the same interests as me and think we would have a fun time together. Look, I am a hopeless romantic who ideally hopes that this site may be helpful in connecting me with that special one. However, I am also all about meeting and having fun with like minded, good people. No pressure, ya know?
