I'm an undergraduate student in philosophy. I'm an activist, and am particularly passionate about GLBT rights. I have also worked on issues such as racial justice and ending torture.

I identify as genderqueer. I disagree with the gender binary and with social norms regarding gender. I am biologically female, but tend to prefer being thought of as a boy.

I love airplanes and have studied airplane crashes. I have also jumped out of an airplane, and hope to go skydiving more in the future. I am excited by trying new things. I have a unicycle, but once I am on it I am likely to fall. I have a guitar, but I play poorly. I love sailing and feel completely relaxed when I am on the water.

I write for the school paper, usually about either activism or science.

I like to read, but only if it's on a topic I care about. I have read a lot about gender, sexuality, and philosophy. I read the New York Times almost every day. I especially enjoy the New York Times Magazine.
