I love the intersection of the sacred and profane: pop vs. opera, action movies vs. foreign film, fantasy novels vs. Buddhist philosophy, Museum of Bad Art vs. MFA, etc. If you look hard enough, both describe our life in equal measure and you can find one within the other. In a previous lifetime, I was a singer and am equally likely to break out into opera or Lady Gaga. Cooking has become a passion of mine and I try to put together nice meals a couple times a week. I love the high arts (opera, symphony, theater, museums) and don't think they have to be high or snotty, it's people who make them that way. When I have time, I often do yoga, walk in the parks and read books on a diverse set of topics.
I think I'll leave this summary here. Self summaries are interesting things aren't they...how much is about the person and how much is how they see themselves. The question of whether anyone sees themselves clearly must come up. You never know until you meet someone.
