I play guitar (and several other instruments, but guitar is my strength). I'm the lead singer/guitarist for a band called The Subject To Change. I've been in one band or another since 2004 (Be Louder, Getting Towards Gone, John Tibbs, Beyond the Banana Bunny, Too Hot To Walk With, etc.), touring with several of them, and I love it more than anything. My dream is to become a touring musician some day.
I'm quite sarcastic. My increasing levels of sarcasm towards a particular person correlate with an increasing level of friendship with that person.
I talk fast. That's what people tell me.
I love art house films, foreign films, and indie music.
I've worn a livestrong bracelet every day since 2004.
My brother is my best friend.
I'm probably better than you at Guitar Hero.
I love the Steelers, the Pens, and Pitt basketball. I also enjoy watching tennis, particularly Nadal, Roddick, and Monfils. March Madness is my favorite sports program to watch.
I am intelligent, confident, and competitive. It's a deadly combo for games. Board games, card games, video games, sports, any of them. I will win. Or inwardly pout if I don't.
If you use your, you're, their, they're, there, etc. in the wrong context, I will silently judge you.
I love scarves.
If you sound like Hayley Williams, Zooey Deschanel, or Greta Salpeter, I will marry you.
I wear moccasins often. Partially because I like how they look, partially because they're comfy, but mostly because of my Native American (Cherokee) heritage, of which I'm quite fond. I'm in the process of becoming an official citizen of the Cherokee Nation. Not for any benefits in particular (although there are some decent ones), but mainly just because I think it would be fun.
I like the beach, but the ocean makes me nervous because I'm terrified of large sea creatures.
I like playing trivia games. I like it most when I'm wrong though, because that means I learned something.
I often speak in movie/television quotes as if it were a second language. My closest friends are also fluent and this is how we communicate.
