My Self-Summary

Hi, I'm Chris.

I believe in being honest with people, being old fashioned in relationships. Holding doors, paying for dinners, buying flowers; the stuff that nowadays ends up getting you called 'a sensitive gayboy' by the lads. I don't have a type but someone who is active, intelligent (different from being smart), who is able to laugh at themselves, someone who is genuine and cares about others as much as themselves.

A little about me. Im doing a year at law school after just finishing my degree and hope to get a legal job next year. I'm very physically active. I swim, cycle, rugby, skiing and anything else that involves moving my body through the air. I believe that if someone is able to look after themselves on the outside they are more likely to be a determined and focussed person on the inside. I try to go to exhibits and gigs more and more at the moment as I feel that i haven't made the most what's of offer up until now.
I've been single for a few months and would like to have someone to share some time with and that I miss the closeness you have when in a relationship.

What I’m doing with my life

Trying to become a laywer, if anyone will take me. Also trying to expand into areas of my life that as of yet, haven't been fulfiled. Art, reading, gigs, travelling around London finding cool and unique spots. That sort of thing. However my course does take up alot of my time.

I’m really good at

picking up things quickly, sports of almost any kind, being generous, listening to peoples problems, cooking, giving massages and, by looking at this list, blowing my own trumpet!
I am actually fairly unwilling to talk about myself because i don't like show offs, but this bit has always been left blank untill now and I thought I'd fill it in for a change.

The first things people usually notice about me

I don't think I've ever asked anyone? Message me and tell me and i'll put it up.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Lots of things. Old, new, ecletic, and mainstream. For a more detailed list you'll have to ask because it's long!

As a taste I'll pick 3 of each I really like.
(argh this is hard just picking three!!)
Movies: Into the Wild, Finding Nemo and The Pianist

Books: Birdsong by Sebastian Faulks, The Ascent of Money by Niall Ferguson and The Call of the Wild by Jack London.

Music: Ryan Adams, Bloc Party and Hall and Oates! haha

Food: Big hunks of meat, fresh fish and roast potatoes. (not necessarily on the same plate)

The six things I could never do without

Music
Being in good health and fitness
Touch
Bermuda
New experiences
The fear that I'm not good enough which keeps me pushing myself.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Alot of different things. Past, future, present.
Mostly how I should try to embrace being single, but how much being alone really sucks.
How the hell am I going to get a law firm to take me on next year?
What my next challenge is going to be and how many can I fit into the summer.

On a typical Friday night I am

Usually waiting for Saturday night, who goes big on a Friday? Just a few casual beers at a pub/bar catching up with friends usually.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I still have the teddy-bear I had as a child somewhere in my house.

You should message me if

You are bored of experiencing life's moments by yourself.
