Well hello there, profile peruser! My name is Chris. I can be a fairly shy and perhaps socially anxious person, but I tend to warm up quickly enough and get more outgoing. I'm usually pretty laid back and I try to keep myself open to new experiences. I love to travel and explore the history and culture of new places.

Graduated from college with a BA in Political Science, currently working at a laboratory, but looking for something in my field or to go back to school for a masters in international relations.

Writing non-fiction, I am told I'm fairly funny (your mileage may vary)

Movies: Dr. Strangelove, Paths of Glory, LotR series, Indiana Jones, Apollo 13
Books: The Temple of the Golden Pavilion, The Picture of Dorian Gray, LotR, To Kill a Mockingbird, various ponderous philosophical/political tomes
Food: Not really any specific food, but I do rather enjoy cooking. Perhaps someday I'll even be good at it.

The internet, books, music, travel, good food, and good company.

My job is mind-numbingly boring so I send a lot of time thinking about...anything. The future, the past, the news, whatever book I'm reading at the time. And, let's be honest, sex.

If work has been kind that week, enjoying a little quiet time before my weekend plans. Reading, playing (too much) Skyrim, watching tv.
If not...passed out on the couch.
