Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
G’day (I’m not Australian but I did live there for five months)!
Anyway, I am a young professional working in Minneapolis. I work
for a small company in the backup power industry as a field service
supervisor. I don’t love or hate my job and now that I have been
there a few years the pursuit of my next career move may begin
I am an avid runner and have a couple major goals that involve
running. The first is to qualify and run in the Boston Marathon. I
have a long way to go to achieve this goal but it is not just a
dream. The second is to complete an Ironman Triathlon. I also enjoy
playing pretty much any other sport. In the last few years I have
played on several rec sports teams including softball, volleyball,
golf, kickball, and bocce ball. The bocce ball league just started
and even though we lost our first match I am stoked for the
I grew up in small town Wisconsin before attending the University
of Minnesota. Although I enjoyed life in the small town I needed
the change to the big city. Growing up in Wisconsin I am a Packers
fan but attending the University of Minnesota I cheer for the
Gophers. I also learned to root for the Wild (hockey does not seem
to exist in Wisconsin).
Outside of work and sports I am also interested in or enjoy beer,
board games, puzzles, photography, musicals, most music,
documentaries on Netflix, the smell of coffee, and many other
things I can’t think of at this time.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
My life right now consists of working, running, hanging out with
friends, and trying to navigate the game of life.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I like to think I'm really good at running but I have never come
remotely close to a 4:00 minute mile or sub 2:20:00 marathon so I'm
not elite. I have also won the last two games of Monopoly I have
played so go ahead and try to beat me.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I believe people first notice that I am smiling.

Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I spend a lot of time thinking about running, my career path, and
what my next possible travel experience may be.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
On a Friday night I can usually be found with friends out on the
town or watching something on Netflix.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You should message me if you want to go for run, get coffee, see a
show, or if you just want to ask me something random. For example,
ask me would I rather be trapped in a forest with no way out with a
bear trying to hunt me or a boa trying to hunt me?
