My self-summary
I am just coming back to OKC after 15 months off. Will fill in more later- but for now, I'm well traveled, I work out 5 times a week and eat healthy. I like to read, watch movies, see plays and musicals and go for walks. I drink socially, and love sushi and Vietnamese food. I am a cruise director.
What I’m doing with my life
Trying to find a passion in Chicago. Being away from home this much is taxing. Looking for the right reason (starting with a job...) to stay put in Chicago. I like to run, too.
I’m really good at
Broadway musicals, budgeting and finance, doing math in my head. Napping, singing, organizing, and making peanut butter toast. I'm not much of a cook. But if you are, that's GREAT! It would be a yin/yang thing. You cook, I'll eat. :-)
The first things people usually notice about me
I have a great big smile! I am high-energy, sporty, and sexy. I am not the shy, quiet type. Think more Julia Roberts and less Catherine Zeta-Jones.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Food: EVERYTHING!! I love to try new things. I don't like beets, cauliflower, olives, coffee, and not too crazy about eggplant, but everything else is fair game. Faves include Vietnamese Pho, Sushi - really, anything Asian. Mexican, Italian, Turkish, Greek, Middle Eastern, ANY kind of Pizza, junk food, health food - get it? Movies: Landmark Century Cinema is a fave, but I'm also a sap for movies like Remember the Titans, Shawshank, and any musical. Music: Jazz, Country, Broadway Musicals, Adele, male guitar players, classic 80's, DIXIE CHICKS. TV? I don't watch a lot of TV because I'm not around enough to get hooked on anything. I watch Jeopardy when I am home - I guess that is my "favorite show." I also like Nightline every night, and I prefer Letterman to Leno.
The six things I could never do without
I started a list. It included my iPhone, my condo, etc... but is there ANYTHING you really couldn't do without? In the literal meaning, no, there is not. As long as I have my family and my health, that's all that matters.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to have a productive, yet relaxing and educational vacation. Who I should donate to - I like to give money to causes I believe in. What I am doing with my life. Am I contributing to the world and the betterment of other people?
On a typical Friday night I am
Working. (I'm a Cruise Director, remember?) But when I am on vacation, you can find me in a theater, or perhaps watching a movie at home. Since I am home for weeks at a time, I prefer to go out on weekdays, when you don't have to fight the crowds. Also, I always make a trip to NYC a couple times a year to see this season's shows. I'm wide open.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Ok, I could down a box of Fruity Pebbles in no time flat. Yes, I am an adult, and I LOVE sugar cereal!!! I don't eat it often, but for a guilty treat, it makes me happy.
I’m looking for
  • Straight guys only
  • Ages 40–46
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
You are smart, funny, my height or taller (I'm 5'10 and I love to wear heels) and are open to new things. Please be my age. (20-somethings: I'm flattered, really, but please do not message me. I am really not looking for that.) I am looking for someone like me, with enough differences to make an interesting relationship, one where people learn from one another and grow together in life. Are you extremely smart? I will melt.

Did you run the Chicago Marathon? Do you like to travel? Do you live in the city? Are you a fan of The West Wing? Aaron Sorkin? Do you like the theater? Does it irk you when people send you an email using text-speak? Are you well educated, well traveled, and do you understand stocks and know what a Roth IRA is? (Extra points if you actually have one.) Do you like sushi with red wine? Are you a lover of REALLY good pizza and do you know where to get the best hamburger in Chicago? Answer yes to a few of those, and drop me a line. I try and answer everyone who writes to me. Sometimes I forget, and the days pass me by, but I think it's rude to intentionally ignore an email that someone put a lot of thought into, and basically put themselves OUT there. This whole process is not easy, and just by subscribing to this website, it shows a lot of courage. So, the worst case scenario is that we meet, grab a bite, there are no sparks, and we go home. I've had worse days...
