Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Me? I'm well traveled, I work out and eat healthy. I like to read,
watch movies, see plays and musicals and go for walks. I drink
socially, and love sushi and Vietnamese food. I am a cruise
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.

Broadway musicals, budgeting and finance, doing math in my head.
Napping, singing, organizing, and making peanut butter toast. I'm
not much of a cook. But if you are, that's GREAT! It would be a
yin/yang thing. You cook, I'll eat. :-)

Food: EVERYTHING!! I love to try new things. I don't like beets,
olives, coffee, and not too crazy about eggplant, but everything
else is fair game. Faves include Vietnamese Pho, Sushi - really,
anything Asian. Mexican, Italian, Turkish, Greek, Middle Eastern,
ANY kind of Pizza, junk food, health food - get it? Movies:
Landmark Century Cinema is a fave, but I'm also a sap for movies
like Remember the Titans, Shawshank, and any musical. TV? I don't
watch a lot of TV because I'm not around enough to get hooked on
anything. I watch Jeopardy when I am home - I guess that is my
"favorite show." I'm a news junkie.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I started a list. It included my iPhone, my condo, etc... but is
there ANYTHING you really couldn't do without? In the literal
meaning, no, there is not. As long as I have my family and my
health, that's all that matters.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Work. Life. My next adventure. Food.

Working. (I'm a Cruise Director, remember?) But when I am on
vacation, you can find me in a theater, or perhaps watching a movie
at home. Since I am home for weeks at a time, I prefer to go out on
weekdays, when you don't have to fight the crowds. Also, I always
make a trip to NYC a couple times a year to see this season's
shows. I'm wide open.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You are smart, funny, my height or taller (I'm 5'10 and I love to
wear heels) and are open to new things. Please be my age.
(20-somethings: I'm flattered, really, but please do not message
me. I am really not looking for that.) I am looking for someone
like me, with enough differences to make an interesting
relationship, one where people learn from one another and grow
together in life. Are you extremely smart? I will melt.
Did you run the Chicago Marathon? Do you like to travel? Do you
live in the city? Are you a fan of The West Wing? Aaron Sorkin? Do
you like the theater? Does it irk you when people send you an email
using text-speak? Are you well educated, well traveled, and do you
understand stocks and know what a Roth IRA is? (Extra points if you
actually have one.) Do you like sushi with red wine? Are you a
lover of REALLY good pizza and do you know where to get the best
hamburger in Chicago? Answer yes to a few of those, and drop me a
line. I try and answer everyone who writes to me. Sometimes I
forget, and the days pass me by, but I think it's rude to
intentionally ignore an email that someone put a lot of thought
into, and basically put themselves OUT there. This whole process is
not easy, and just by subscribing to this website, it shows a lot
of courage. So, the worst case scenario is that we meet, grab a
bite, there are no sparks, and we go home. I've had worse days...
